Will SUV sales surpass Sedan in Singapore?

In other countries, SUVs are selling way more than sedan.

 

This trend is slowly catching up in Singapore, but seems a little slow. Do you think Singaporeans will be switching to SUVs? Will you switch?

Suv good for long trip to malaysia can carry alot luggage and when come back still can buy groceries

For B&B range the cost for crossover/suv is still higher than sedan, hence unlikely will be surpassed sedan.

outskirt areas of some countries are having more undulating roads, city roads having too many potholes, frequent flood whint the city areas which make SUV a more practical choice.

My friend wants to buy a sedan, but was concerned that the demand/trend might swing to SUV by the time he wants to sell, making selling the sedan difficult without incurring much loss. I see more and more of reasonably priced SUV on the road, like Nissan Qashqai, Opel Moka X, Vezel etc.

 

Most SUV drivers say once they sit “high”, they won’t want to go back “down”. Any SUV owners here agree?

Haha this one I agree with u. Since I got a higher car, found saloons rather low for me to get in n out but then again it has its trade offs as lower cars better at cornering.

next time when I cannot bend my back anymore,

and also old man drive very slow, no need to worry about the SUV flipping over while cornering.
