SGCMHello 4th Gear March 11, 2018 Share March 11, 2018 In other countries, SUVs are selling way more than sedan. This trend is slowly catching up in Singapore, but seems a little slow. Do you think Singaporeans will be switching to SUVs? Will you switch? ↡ Advertisement

Contipro 5th Gear March 11, 2018 Share March 11, 2018 For B&B range the cost for crossover/suv is still higher than sedan, hence unlikely will be surpassed sedan.
Ct3833 Supersonic March 11, 2018 Share March 11, 2018 outskirt areas of some countries are having more undulating roads, city roads having too many potholes, frequent flood whint the city areas which make SUV a more practical choice.
SGCMHello 4th Gear March 11, 2018 Author Share March 11, 2018 My friend wants to buy a sedan, but was concerned that the demand/trend might swing to SUV by the time he wants to sell, making selling the sedan difficult without incurring much loss. I see more and more of reasonably priced SUV on the road, like Nissan Qashqai, Opel Moka X, Vezel etc. Most SUV drivers say once they sit “high”, they won’t want to go back “down”. Any SUV owners here agree?

Steptronic Supercharged March 11, 2018 Share March 11, 2018 I do shift between a CUV and very very low sedan fewer times in a week. No issues. Spring Moderator March 11, 2018 Share March 11, 2018 As I grow old, I need a car which is easy to get in and out. Too low will have problem haha... Haha this one I agree with u. Since I got a higher car, found saloons rather low for me to get in n out but then again it has its trade offs as lower cars better at cornering.

Mr_b20 6th Gear March 11, 2018 Share March 11, 2018 I will consider a SUV when I retire, next time when I cannot bend my back anymore, and also old man drive very slow, no need to worry about the SUV flipping over while cornering. ↡ Advertisement
