Carbon82 Moderator April 4, 2018 Author Share April 4, 2018 This Malaysian MPV (price start from <RM60K) look nice in metal and realtively well built (by ASEAN standard). But don't be misled by the advertisement, it is actual a badge-engineered unit. Proton Ertiga And this is the donor... Suzuki Ertiga And it is sold in Indonesia as well, under another brand and model name. Mazda VX-1

Carbon82 Moderator April 5, 2018 Author Share April 5, 2018 The Autozam AZ-1 (PG6SA), is a mid-engine Kei car, designed and manufactured by Suzuki but sold by Mazda under its Autozam brand. Manufactured from October 1992 to 1994, the AZ-1 was noted for its gullwing doors. Power came from the same Suzuki-sourced 657 cc turbocharged engine used by the Mazda Carol that produced 64 PS at 6500 rpm and 85 N·m at 4000 rpm. Mazda introduced the limited Mazdaspeed version to showcase the parts that were available for the car. The A-spec kit features an enhanced bonnet, front spoiler and rear wing. It also came with a host of options including sport setting shock absorber, strut bars for the front and rear, mechanical LSD, enhanced air filter and a stainless steel and ceramic muffler. It also came with its own brand of alloy wheels as opposed to the production's steel wheels. Autozam AZ-1 Mazdaspeed A Spec (only 100 units produced) Suzuki produced its own badge engineered version named the Suzuki Cara.

Think of it as low cost Nissan vehicles in S.E. Asia, as Dacia is to Renault in Europe. Very comprehensive lineup as of current. Carbon82 Moderator April 9, 2018 Author Share April 9, 2018 Think you know all the Lexus model? Really? Here are some that we don't get to see on our road... 1st generation ES (V20 - aka Toyota Vista) 5th generation ES (XV40) HS (aka Toyota Sai) 1st generation GX (J120 - aka Toyota Land Cruiser Pardo) 2nd generation GX (J150 - aka Toyota Land Cruiser Prado) 1st generation LX (J80 - aka Toyota Land Cruiser) 2nd generation LX (J100 - aka Toyota Land Cruiser) 3rd generation LX (J200 - aka Toyota Land Cruiser) *there may be 2 units from PI in Singapore
Cheefarn 5th Gear April 9, 2018 Share April 9, 2018 The 1st gen Lexus ES wasn't EVEN sold outside North America. It was Toyota first attempt in creating affordable lux. For the rest of the world, you either have to PI in a Toyota Vista of that era or no lexus for u at all. Same as Camry... the first 2 gen of Camries were not sold outside of North America. Those Camries were simple and crude Toyotas actually.

Cheefarn 5th Gear April 9, 2018 Share April 9, 2018 Those days, Cressida is the better car. I rem it has a MPI straight 6 engine and 4AT. Very big deal in the early 80s. Back then its either V8 for big power and refinement or settle for a small weak 4 cyln...

Carbon82 Moderator April 10, 2018 Author Share April 10, 2018 This is NOT the normal Prius we saw on our road. Key differences between this PHV version and the standard Prius includes: - Different front and rear deisgn - Longer (105mm) and lower (20mm) than Prius - Higher capacity batteries (8.8KWH vs 4.4KWH) - Smaller boot space (due to larger batteries) - Strictly a 4 seater (as additional weight will be undesirable) - Optional solar panel roof Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid (aka Prius PHV in Japan) ↡ Advertisement
