Yes. They just rename it as PureTech 1.6. In China, the 4008 (aka 3008 outside of China), 5008, C5, C5 Aircross are using the so called 1.6thp PureTech engine. When I check the parts, specs and design, it the same as the EP6CDTM in the European 3008, 5008, 508, DS4, DS5.

 

Even though the engine have been much improve from since EP6DT, you still can't shake off the fear. Head to China forum, burning of engine oil is still a common issue when the especially when the Valve Stem Seal wear out. Once bitten, twice shy.

 

This engine in the new 508 (II) should be upgraded version of EP6CDTM.

I kinda like the new Lexus grille though....very unique. Guess it belongs to the either-you-love-it-or-hate-it category.

I went to check out the older 2.2GT SW earlier and it was impressive..
wondering if this new GT version have a better front suspension system compare to the standard editions, similar to the older version.  GT have a different front suspension over the the non-GT version.

hope the SW GT highspec will come in with pano roof..

The sales mentioned it should be in by end of 1st half 2019.

Yes I did. But unfortunately there's something wrong with my blardy camera's auto focusing. Keep going off focus. Sorry.

 

Might have to go again to retake. Sigh...
