Hi. Just need to check for people with revoked car license previously, how many lessons do they have to go thru to obtain a new license. Is it better to go thru private instructor if he/she is confident of passing the practical test

Hi All,

 

I’m pretty new in here and I bought a C4 Grand Picasso lately and faces with some problems and needed advices from Citroen owners.

 

My current aircon faces problems of cutting off to produce hot air instead of cooling AC. This happen whenever I drive and accelerates for about 20-30mins and AC just cut off. Checked and affirm there’s sufficient AC gas and compressor and working well. Ironic as it sounds, can someone rescue me in recommending good workshops that can solve this problem. I’ve went to Thomas and he can’t diagnose it at all and told me to find a AC specialist

I was wondering if I can register my new car under temporary season parking while my old car is still parked at the same carpark? So that I have some time to shift my things over before the dealer comes and collect the old car next day? Do you think this can work?

Just transfer the existing season parking to your new car, and pay hourly parking for your old car for a day or 2.

 

HDB have tiered season parking rate and 2nd car will have to pay about double of the 1st car, and once you paid season parking for a new car, it cannot be terminated within a month (the balance will be forfeited), so not a wise choice, from $$$ perspective.

I was at our farm today and just randomly in the shed I found 2 rims in a corner I took them home with me and washed them, after the wash I noticed on the rims that they were BBS and then I seen KBA 40134 too. I tried looking them up but I could find very little information on them. If anyone knows any information can you please tell me.

I did a search in Americantalk and there were no results.

 

90's Ford 351W 5.8L engine did any cars/trucks with it come standard with Headers (short, medium, long)?

 

Please list any years, makes, models  and trim (ls, lx gx..) and if they are (short, medium, long) that you may know of.

Hello everyone! :-) 

 

I'm a writer trying to write a script about car dealers - but struggling a bit as I don't have any car dealer friends :-( would really love to get the perspective of any car dealers/ salespeople here! 

 

Basically my questions are: 

 

1) How do you choose who to approach in the showroom if a lot of customers come in at once - is there a system, or would you just approach if you think the person looks like a good customer? 

 

2) Do you profile walk-in customers (e.g. like if its a young couple coming in, then more keen to approach them than a solo young man or something), and how do you do so? 

 

3) Are there any essential items for car dealers? :-) 

 

Would really appreciate if anybody can share some insight!

your questions are still here, scroll back to page 4 and they are there. Nobody responded so you didnt get any notification.

 

We dont get many American cars here in this part of Asia, unlikely you will get any responses.

HI 

 

I have a 2006 Suzuki Swift sport that was brought in by PIs more than 10 years back. I have bought mega option and i have 8 airbags , recardo seats, and i recall that my HID lights are original. But the LTS inspector says in the 2006 catalogue for SSS mega option does not have HID. Does anyone know where i can get my evidence that my headlights are not aftermarket?

After so many years passing veh inspection, i have no idea why this year they refuse to believe me.

Hi,
 

A couple of days back a van hit my car (Perodua Axia) in the back when the car was in the traffic. It knocked 3/4 times and looks like the guy kept accelerating instead of braking. Just at the same time I felt my (driving) seat moved a slightly down and I thought one of the tires might have punctured or blown. That wasn't the case though. While the back door is damaged, the bottom panel also seemed to be crushed a bit. The garage guys (at the company) have assured there's nothing wrong with the chassis or the shocks. Vehicle is yet to be fixed but I am concerned about what could've happened to the drive seat area. I am sure of it because the rear view mirror is not at the correct position as it was before and also the eco mode indicator below the speedometer isn't visible to me when I sit and drive in the usual position. 

Anyone has an idea about this or having any sort of experience?

actually quite easy to spot one, suddenly you see a few old threads surfaced and the last poster same ID, cfm 99% is spam liao, and that usually happens at super off peak hours.  [laugh]  [laugh]  [laugh]
