noted thanks

as mentioned before, flight would be difficult for my wife to handle.

as for drive, i'll be on reservist so cant run away...  [bigcry]

Are you sure you trust a stranger with just the 3 of them?

Take bus if she can't handle your kids.

Wife important or reservist more important?

Think of your poor wife who have to go all the way there alone taking care of so young kid by herself?

He should definitely get out of it somehow but not sure if MC is the best way because he will also have to travel out of the country.

Hopefully the trip departure date is before the reservist. Go Malaysia take MC. Call back to camp and say you are in KL and too sick to drive back.

they go by minimum headcount, if only 3 of them they will still charge the minimum.

You miss the point.

He won't be driving mean....his wife and kids won't be around. His reservist stay in or stay out?

Hey bro

My personal view is this:

Do you realise that the bros asking you to take MC and go to M'sia are asking you to break the law?

In addition, your personal integrity is called into question. I don't know if that is a big deal for this, but for me it is.

And once you cross that border, they will know you broke the law. You will be arrested, charged and you have to ask, was it worth it?

I know that two kids will stress your wife out, and it might be easier to fly or something if driving is too stressful for her, but these options are the right thing to do and will keep you on the right side of the law.

Finally you could reorganise the trip and then go together. I will go up to KL in June, you are welcome to convoy with me too, cheers  [thumbsup]

I don't think my view is too popular, but I don't want to see the face of MCF behind bars... and as I said, it's a personal choice, but I think I want to

问心无愧  :)

I already wrote that he needs to take that into account leh. Of course if you take MC and run to Malaysia, they can track. You should go to Malaysia and take MC instead.

BTW, what personal integrity? hahaha

and i really no money haha...

thanks Dach and Kusje but we had already planned this trip on those dates. if you really want to know, can pm me.

we are considering our options currently...

my reservist is stay in... may not be out over the weekend also...

Actually what is the purpose of the trip?

If it's not important, can just delay till you come out.

If visit in laws, then let them know. They should be able to accommodate.

Don't mind asking. Why do you trust your wife + 2 kids to a stranger driver individual, rather than well established public transport ah ?

包车 service is already quite well established in msia just like Taiwan, no like the old days where you grab a 霸王车 in the street.

Even now i always take those people at JB city link bridge calling to fetch people back to singapore, i sometime even call them to come to singapore to fetch us in.

Use grab or uber? Hehe

Just kiddin i think take bus best cos only 3 pax. Otherwise take plane also much cheaper than hiring a car

uber/grab cannot go inter-states in msia, moreover the rate will be much higher   [laugh]

my concern is that it would be tough for my wife to handle 2 young kids on her own and taking public transport. i have also noted from you and other bros on the safety concern, which is why we are considering other options rather than hired transport. thanks
