Lmws214 Turbocharged December 24, 2017 Author Share December 24, 2017 maintain it regularly like every six months to groom the ride? thanks! It’s really difficult to maintain a White car esp self maintain n hence I think the only advice I can give is to get a good groomer to maintain it regularly. Some car paintwork are not very good like Honda n that means that u will need to perhaps do paint protection as well. Conti cars in general have better paintwork n this helps of course. ↡ Advertisement

Cheesecake006 2nd Gear December 30, 2017 Share December 30, 2017 I use ONR to wash my white car at least once a week and alternate week top it off with Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer. And apply Optimum car wax once every 2-3 mths. It helps to maintain my car shine for my 6 mths old ride.

Bullet4Justice Neutral Newbie January 20, 2018 Share January 20, 2018 honestly white car or other colors depend on the weather and the state of asphalt in the place you live in, I live in Saudi Arabia and here car can get dirty in a week and the asphalt isn't very good and for that reason you need to wash the car a lot and be careful of rock chips hitting the car at speed. if you live in a good weather area don't worry about your car, just wash it every 2 weeks or whenever you start spotting dirt. and send it for grooming every once in a while hope this helped.

Sdf4786k Twincharged January 21, 2018 Share January 21, 2018 (edited) It’s really difficult to maintain a White car esp self maintain n hence I think the only advice I can give is to get a good groomer to maintain it regularly. Conti cars in general have better paintwork n this helps of course. nowadays with environmental friendly paintwork, the paints are softer than usual. So alot of pitted marks on the front bonnet and bumper. I use a paint marker . On day one looks matching. one week later will be a tad yellow. TameDriver Twincharged January 22, 2018 Share January 22, 2018 Interesting & apt thread. Here to learn form other white car owners too. Haven't washed mine since collection 4 mths ago, except for once, done by workshop after first servicing. Only doing spot removal of bird shit. Kusje Supersonic January 22, 2018 Share January 22, 2018 I have a white car. I wash once a week or every two weeks. Have not sent for grooming but plan to do so (got the car 8 months ago). For scratches I used liquid paper. Colour does not match fully but not so bad. Hopefully after polishing will look better. And for places like car door handle and bowl I had it wrapped with vinyl wrap so scratches won't show there.
Kusje Supersonic January 22, 2018 Share January 22, 2018 Not keen on washing car as from 9 years ago had a bout of Transient Global Amnesia after washing car. So my white car is very dusty even though parked in MSCP. Last wash was by KIA nearly 3 months ago. Easy to find car in car park especially when parked next to sparkling Singapore cars. Did you get a check up done? Can't be the act of washing the car right?

Steptronic Supercharged January 23, 2018 Share January 23, 2018 I have been owning white cars mostly. 2 things can help you: 1. Proper PPS (Ceramic types) and its maintenance once in a year 2. Wash at least once a week

As far as i know my master D for DG made maintenace products for Xpel film which mean PPF still need some simple maintanance..Guess UV is the main culprit to all this stuff..
