Uncertainty over the upcoming VES and motor show next mth resulting in dropping of COE, maybe after motor show will shoot up again.

Maybe the real reason is that economy is not as good as everyone thinks.

don't think too much....coe drop is to compensate for VES surcharge next year

so that overall car price remains at similar levels

ADs know this game better than us lah

Agree.

Coe is always play/control by AD.

if dealer already bid CAT A for you - can still change order to cat B car?

Car not arrive yet...

the COE bidding is via your account in Onemotoring. confirm can't changed..

you can check your onemotoring account and you will know how much dealer bid for you.

Those who bought at high a month ago and get COE today will be cursing. COE past few rounds is relatively wild swing. All the hype up fear on zero car growth n VES is nonsense. AD never lose but at the expense of car buyers. It is still come down to affordability regardless of car price & COE.

The most important figure is how many COEs get returned to the bidding system.

PQP is still unchanged or higher in Dec right?

30/40% down payment and private hire cutting down on bidding will have a major impact. The zero car growth won't affect much at least for the next 2 years as the number is low and the incoming expirying COE is high. When VES is up, COE will go down to counter it. The comfort level for a car now I think is in the range of 80k to 100k and slowly filtering towards the 80k range soon.

Hi peeps, placed a 10k deposit on my credit card for 6 bid NG for my car. Apparently, they will refund the 10k back into my credit card if they fail to secure the coe. But wouldn't my 10k get stuck in the credit card? Anyone had similar experience?

u will bear all the fees related to it after 6 bids if you did not get the car. My colleague kanna before. Good luck.  I wrote cheque for my transaction
