Don't know what vehicle. It is quite low., Less than the wheel height and the lower scratch is near the lower lip.

Such low scratch could come from people pushing their trolley or some bags when walk past your car and scratch it?

The length and depth of the scratches are unlikely to be from trolleys.

Furtunately those bumper joint clips are not broken. I tried to polish it away but it cut into the paint near the wbeel arc.

I wonder what could have caused it too.

Motor bike ? Your area prevalent with those PMD presence?

Anyway if can't polish off probably less than $100 can go for a respray.

One tank of fuel now cost 150 plus. Take it easy and chill.

I think such scratch usually is from people who walk past your car, just not sure what exactly the thing that those people who walked past scratches it?! I also see such scratches at the low side at the bumper area on my car few times liao. I dont think it is from a car.

It was parked between two other cars, not near bike parking spaces. My was was parked quite far in, not protruding out. And no, PMDs are not prevalent at my mscp.

I have polished off partially and I'll leave it as a reminder. It won't rust as the bumper is made of plastic material.

@Fitvip

it takes considerable force to do that kind of damage

unlikely a light brush

more like your bumper caught the item and the person used force to push it through

It was parked between two other cars and the back is where the infamous hdb overlapping is, not passable to people.

There are two sets of scratches, the upper ones are deeper than the lower set. The upper set cuts into the paint towards the wheel arc, which I am not able to polish off.

The lower set of scratch lines are more even, unlike the upper set with different heights. That puzzles me.

It could have been anything. I am puzzled as the row where my car was parked does not lead to any passage or short cut. So, the most likely culprit could be the car that was trying into the next space.

mine also got hit and run in feb. the scratch at a very weird angle though. car plate holder cracked, black plastic trim at bumper got scratch and the rest of paint came off. seems that the impact comes almost perpendicular to my front bumper.

nothing i can do but to LLST and go settle in a spray paint shop while doing this:

No so bad after polishing.  Just touch up with a small brush (plastic won't rust) and wait for the next scratch.......[lipsrsealed]

(Mine was like that with self touch up) until someone hit my fender then I resprayed one shot.

As long as you park in public places can't avoid.

Don't touch up with paint!

You will hate the eventual result after touch up.

Either don't wash the ride and let road dusk mask over or go for respray!😱

Trust me.
