the sweet potato at donki is indeed better than the common ones you buy in supermarkets.

very sweet and very moist.

i can understand why there is a Q for it, even so many months after opening. but i won't Q for it unless the Q is short.

The Q for the sweet potato will never short. But even the queue is long, it is quite fast moving once the stall is opened. Anyway, i find the potato way too sweet, dont know why it is so sweet?

My late grandparents used to say that's what they ate during WWII.

Baked Tapioca too.

Yup. Been there done that too.. but too dear to pay for nostalgia..

Grown in Japan and grown in Singapore ones not same same.

Should try once.

Yeah. But at that price, you can go buy the raw product and throw it into the oven yourself. Similar results - probably at half the price.

My wife says the black facial mask is cheaper dan most places.

Don't ask me, I don't even know what brand is it.

Ask her to check out Venus.

some say donki added honey/sugar to the sweet potato.

i think it is just the breed of the sweet potato. i have eaten similarly sweet ones in japan (not from donki).

Don Don Donki seems to have pull out many items from their store since they started.

Wonder is it due to complaint from other vendor/merchant

Since he complaint about how expensive don ki charged for the cooked sweet potato, so i make a general comparison.

Just like my coll kpkb about the mix rice store charging a vege dish meat price but can go out to eat at any restaurant during lunch time.

This is true. But at home, you can control the seasoning, put in better quality ingredients and generally feed yourself better too. Hence, pulling the cost up.

Don Don Donki got sell G-shock? For how much?

The only thing home cooked food is to control the seasoning and the ingredients and freshness.
