and most oil dip sticks or measurement indicators show around 1L from min to max. so topping up 0.5-1L would easily solve it.

True story. I've owned a car since 2008. I've only bothered to check my oil once. Found nothing wrong and never bothered to again. 😅

Need some feedback. My Skoda is nearing its second" free" servicing- 30,000(currently 28,000). Engine oil alarm has lighted up triangle exclamation mark. Check it is low. Call Skoda Singapore, mentioned it is chargeable for top up. Is it normal for the engine oil to drop ? check no traces of leaked below. If do servicing outside(any recommendation) with original parts will it void warranty(05 years warranty) do any one here have the Skoda Kodiak parts list like the brake pads, oil filter to share. thank you.

Just go any workshop to buy suitable engine oil of 1L capacity and pour it yourself. Can google the actual type. Allow car to cool for at least 30min before trying. The rest of the oil can keep till next time, common for turbo car when close to servicing intervals.

Hello! I've just book a new Kodiaq. Is there a Singapore Skoda telegram or WhatsApp group that I can join?

Collecting my Kodiaq this Friday! If there isn't one for the new Kodiaq, perhaps we could start one.

The aircon of my Octavia is suddenly not working anymore. No air comes from the vents at all.

Went to a car aircon specialist near my workplace, tried and say have to go back to agent. Suspect board issue. Of course, I can just it's expensive. Tomorrow I bring to another workshop to take a look. If still no, then no choice to pay a bigger bill.

Skoda Singapore has opened registration for keen buyers for the facelifted Skoda Octavia!

This time, it appears they are bringing back the 1.5 TSI but with mild hybrid and detuned to Cat A COE. Will either be the factory 85KW option (113hp) or the same 130hp variant used by VW Tiguan.

Registration form link is below for those keen. My SE say local brochure not ready yet.

@Ceecookie  According to LTA website, it will be the 85KW (113 bhp) version.

Thanks! The global specs for the 85KW 1.5 tsi along with the Octavia RS 2.0 TSI can be found in below link.

The new 1.5 tsi octavia does its 0-100km/h sprint in 10.6 sec and have a top speed of 203km/h.

Compared to the outgoing 1.0 tsi, the fuel consumption of 1.5 tsi may be slightly higher but will have smoother ride coz of the 4 cylinder count (1.0 tsi is 3 cylinder).
