Spoke to one of the SE today - kodiaq left RS and sportsline variant only. Octavia RS left very few Combi units that they're trying to offload now.

Facelifted Octavia and RS will only arrive early 2025, coz need to undergo LTA homogolation again.

Can't help but feel 2025 is too late n something like the RS doing 0-100 in 6.4 secs is considered slow n old when a cheaper 200k Model 3 or BYD Seal does it in 5.5

Even w the extra insurance n road tax, still works out cheaper n faster than the RS if SCS prices it at a premium n rely on gimmick pricing instead

@Soya what’s the pricing on the Octavia RS and the Octavia combi Rs right now ? The last I checked back in 2023 I agree the pricing isn’t great, could be due to the VES banding

Octavia rs sold out already. Combi RS is 240k now.

The best pricing was actually during vivocity roadshow in Jan 2024 because their promo coincided with the huge coe drop in first bidding exercise.

@Ceecookie wow the kodiaq is a good deal at 179k. But yea the RS pricing isn’t competitive, could be due to the $25k surcharge from VES..

It's still available now. Only octavia RS liftback is sold out.

For the price of octo RS u can get a BYD seal that goes better then RS.. just that it max out at 180kmh where RS can easily hit 240kmh on the Naha.

of course the RS can stage 1 2 n 3 provided you can risk LTA finding out on stage 2 n 3

I look back fondly at the days when the RS245 is like 125k thereabouts
