Anyone driving/used to own the Skoda Kodiaq? Looking to upgrade as i need a 5+2, have watched a couple of reviews on YouTube about it and so far it is very good. Would like to have more opinion/experience from users in Singapore about it. I’m looking at both 1.5L and the RS ( leaning towards RS as I’ve always been driving NA engines and i really loved the power from the 2L turbo, only downside is its at least 50k more expensive .

Should be under warranty from Agent. Congrats if they decide to honour the warranty and replace it with any new compressor/condenser/evaporator.

Just gotten a MK4 collecting soon! However, I realise there is no 12V socket inside the car only at the boot. Anyone using usb c to car socket converter?

Seems like accessories not much in Taobao also.

Huh? I have never come across 5year warranty for car aircon. Can always check the service booklet. Most likely 5 year warranty is for engine and gb. Aircon 1-2year warranty and headunit 1-2 year warranty as well. Of course if aircon really covers 5 years that will be a very good deal.

my ex sorento was 3yrs and it was replaced. True, 5yrs seem too good for Air Con.

Took the octavia today! It's cool but the screen placement could be a bit higher.

Just wondering the following

1. Anyone used usb c thumbdrive to play song or movies?

2. Notice the usb c is not fast charging also.

3. Anyone enabled the navigation function for a fee or something?

4. Is there anyway to enable the air recirculation mode permanently?

1. yes im using USB C to play my old MP3. plus using apple music for anything else thru carplay

2. USBC is fast charging, check your cable speed

3. no navigation for SG markets. use carplay

4. yes.  this can be done via VAG coding. however, you will need to NOT SWITCH OFF THE AIRCON when off engine to enable the memory setting. 

 

we have a group - search skoda club singapore.  you can consider to join that group

Yes, they honoured the warranty and replaced faulty compressor free of charge.

Yes, my car turns 5yrs old next year. So it is a very good deal indeed.
