Sdf4786k Twincharged March 27, 2018 Share March 27, 2018 Hit dog no stop is a crime as in this case ? Stray dog some more. I think hit cat ok. but not dogs. Not sure why the inequality. https://sg.news.yahoo.com/remy-ong-accused-running-over-dog-remy-ong-135130361.html Ong was driving along Changi Coast Road after leaving the National Service Resort and Country Club nearby when his black Porsche Boxster hit a female cross-breed dog at about 1pm. The dog died 20 minutes after the incident. Speaking to Yahoo! Singapore over the phone on Monday afternoon, Ong apologised for the incident. "I just want to say I'm really sorry about the whole incident. At the end of the day, it's a life that is lost and I feel very bad about it," said Ong who owns a female poodle. QQ2017 6th Gear March 27, 2018 Share March 27, 2018 Not paying attention to the traffic situation ahead!!! Hope driver and/or passengers are alright... Some photos of the aftermath of the accident: 1. It appears that the Silver car (looks like a Nissan Sunny) managed to a full somersault and flipped back on its 4 wheels... that's good... 2. The Harrier's rear bumper looks very solid (despite being hit) but the impact caused the Harrier to surge forward and bump into the car in front of it. This resulted substantial damages to the Harrier's front bumper and bonnet... 3. The rear Harrier's wheel axis seem damaged. The left rear wheel seem out of position... Yewheng Twincharged March 27, 2018 Share March 27, 2018 (edited) https://www.facebook.com/lim.e.han/posts/10155797715104079 I always believe in one thing. When front car/lorry/truck/bus suddenly brake, best is don't so quick to change to next lane and accelerate. I will always brake behind them. As we will never know what make the vehicle infront brake suddenly. Like for the case of the above video, the pick up brake because of a lady Jaywalking. Imagine if the cam car is slightly nearer to the pick up and once saw the pick up brake and decide to change lane and accelerate fast. The cam car will hit the Jaywalker Sia. So well.. There are a lot of drivers who drive and I will shake head. The reason I shake head is because, when no accident, everything is okay. But when there is accident, then Blame this and blame that. Why not cooldown and reflect what's wrong? Like for the above case ( if the driver really hit the Jaywalker). This accident can be prevented if the car stay in lane and brake together with the pick up infront. Edited March 27, 2018 by Yewheng

I'm surprised the Harrier's bumper is rock solid.. or maybe it's the left rear wheel that took the impact which is why the axle was bent in..
Ysc3 Twincharged March 27, 2018 Share March 27, 2018 (edited) Silver car is actually the Toyota Vios. some of the smaller medium cars all the CG quite high ... like vios, bezza and attrage ... appears really easy to flip. Sam7770 4th Gear March 28, 2018 Share March 28, 2018 Not paying attention to the traffic situation ahead!!! Hope driver and/or passengers are alright... What a surprise, another totally avoidable tailgating multiple-car incident, causing delays for everyone caught up in it. Reminder to habitual tailgaters: it's not just whether you can stop in time (the Harrier did stop in time after an emergency brake), you have to consider the idiot behind you too. He might not be an idiot, but that should be your working assumption. That's why if you are being tailgated the advice is to increase the gap to the car in front (if you can't pull over of course) so that you can brake gradually and avoid an uninvited rear-ending. (Anonymous dislikes triggered in 3,2,1...) 5
Leo72 6th Gear March 28, 2018 Share March 28, 2018 some of the smaller medium cars all the CG quite high ... like vios, bezza and attrage ... appears really easy to flip. It's not because of high CG but rather because of light weight. The Vios in the video is only 900+ kg kerb weight. ↡ Advertisement
