Been driving for about a year.

 

Insurance $2700

Petrol around $400 per month

Servicing around $200 per year

Parking season and adhoc: $1600

Car wash: $300

Total around $5k + yearly

 

That is excluding other cosmetic act like coating, waxing etc.

Also petrol is 95, occasionally Vpower.

d) Season Parkings $130 per month

e) General Servicing : 15kkm or 6mths or whichever later $32 per change (EO+Filter+Labour)

f) Car hand snow wash + Vac RM10 adhoc

g) Wiper 16" 26" RM7.90 per piece per year

h) ATF RM110 every 5 years or every 100kkm

j) Radiator Flash and coolant $6

k) Komputer Wheel Alignment RM33 adhoc

j) Tyres $300 15" X 4 Kumho every 55kkm

k) Car stereo every 3~4 years USD70 7" Touchscreen

l) Parking Coupon 2 X $12 per year.

p) Parking Fine $30 per year.  This year $6.

q) Car Pray Set $25 per accident

r) Cash Card Top $50 about every 2 months.

s) Brake Pad per axle $33 Japan brand

t) Air Filter -Engine Aircon $8~10 per filter

 

That is all I can remember.

Good to be more detailed.. I think it's helping people do their budgeting before committing themselves to buy a car.

 

My young nephew backed out after I explained all the possible expenses.. initially he thought it's simply buy car, road tax, insurance, parking and petrol.

 

He didn't think about the maintenance required..

And even servicing cat bought first hand with AD may possibly still need to pay for wear and tear stuff.

Hmmmm ....... think have ba ...... a few close call lor, like tree fell JUST AFTER I pass a few metres in Lim Chu Kang, or bang Jaugar but driver never notice, probably impacted 1~2 inches ?? or bang and dent bumper but owner let me off the hook lor as he is on the way to collect new altis, or Bang and dent, while talking to owner, the bumper pop back to good shape, no scratch somemore ........ something like that.

 

Anyway ..... price OK, just take it for good luck lor ....
