This one will cost more but I think it will be a game changer. Unmanned cargo drones. The cargo pilots are going to be out of job soon.

I find this quite hard to believe is not staged. Because drone regulations are, understandably, very tough in PRC, for security reasons. Recalled that someone staying in PRC last time told me he had to drive 2 hours out of the city in order to get to an area where flying was permitted.

For drone delivery, it is a separate arrangement from hobbyists

Stalin undertook such an exercise and purged a large portion of the professional military leadership and the Soviet military was reeling from the loss of leadership when Germany launched Operation Barbarossa. It took some time for the Soviets to regain their footing before pushing the Germans back. With no invaders on Chinese territory, perhaps Xi feels the risk of losing any military competence through purges is outweighed by the danger of an uprising of his generals.

Russia lost experienced generals with war experience.

China and Singapore is the same.

Paper generals, and PLA is worse with fat cats guarding their turf of private businesses due to underfunding in the 80s and 90s
