Neutrino Supercharged October 25, 2017 Share October 25, 2017 between a Nets cash card and a Nets Flash card. I use a Nets Flash Card in the payment thingy on my car windscreen and for some reason a few car parks won't accept it and I keep getting the message 'place card in reader' or something. Other car parks accept the Flash card no problem. ↡ Advertisement

I think Nets Flashpay is the one that can do contactless transaction, while the cash card must definitely put inside reader then can transact? Some older machines probably cannot sync with the Flashpay cards...

Some make u tap the reader outside and hold up the traffic behind even longer And a few times double charged with 1 minute apart in the records I still keep the good old chip Nets card as contingency. Why I still use the it... Cos of credit card rebates for auto topup.
Kb27 Supersonic October 25, 2017 Share October 25, 2017 that's why so screwed up system. until today, not everyone is familiar. then, there's the ezlink card. when topping up good old chipped cash card, no need to pay extra. when topping up ezlink card, you must pay extra. so much for advancement, it's more to suck your money.

Mockngbrd Supersonic October 25, 2017 Share October 25, 2017 why need so many system? Why cannot be like China, everything Alipay can liao. because all different stakeholders and no incentive for them to get together to create a single system. Why bother spending the extra $$$ to do so when easier to make everyone LLST.

DACH Supersonic October 25, 2017 Share October 25, 2017 I faced the same issue when I use the flash card to pay the bus fare. In the end, use the old EZlink card and the flash card become backup. Luckily haven't use it in the car cashcard reader yet. Else it will be very embarrassing to hold up the traffic behind in the car park.

But it works at some car parks and not others and haven't had a problem going under gantries. The missus is now going to link the IU to her Credit Card, I think. Anyone done this? Any problems? ↡ Advertisement
