Did you get the classic, enjoy or innovation variant?

I'm going to test drive it this weekend. Mulling this or Kia Stonic.

crossland x innovation. got it for $99,999 with 5 years free servicing a year ago.

for Kia stonic, it's a 7 speed dual clutch. good luck if stuck in heavy jam.

Woo. Tested the forward collision avoidance?

25k difference between stonic and innovation, i'll take the traffic jam. Haha

Neutral Newbie

Hi,

I’m considering getting a Crossland. Never owned a car before, but been hearing that since the brand is not common here there will be problem getting spare parts. Since you guys are actual owners, thought you should know better instead of listening to hearsays.

This thread seems old, so hopefully someone can help with my queries.

Join the Facebook group. They are more active there than here and you can post questions about the car.

Have you also considered its bigger brother the Grandland X?

Currently most of the owners have free 5 years servicing, so spare parts is not really an issue. Have been driving Crossland X since March last year.

Pros:

1. For its price, it is very well equipped. All round sensors, CarPlay/android auto, auto park etc.

2. Good FC. Not hard to achieve 15km/l.

3. Quality of inside is decent. Solid feel when opening and closing the door. Better than Vezel which is around the same price point.

Cons:

1. It's not in a very comfortable position to drive. Floating feel above 100km/hr. Not that uncommon for SUVs actually.

2. Interior space isn't that fantastic compared to Vezel. The boot is actually smaller and the shape makes it hard to put in and take out huge luggage. Also, adjusting of seat position is through a manual knob which is harder to use than a standard lever.

3. Poor resale value since it's not a popular make. Was thinking of upgrading to another car earlier this year and almost all SEs offer crap trade in offer. Something like 40% off the original price I have paid. And I have driven the car for only a year.

4. If not for the free servicing, I'll rather do my servicing outside of AM.

PM me if you are interested to find out more.

Interesting, opel crossland basic cost is 58k before coe and list price 99k.

factoring in a 26k coe, opel is making less than 15k per car sold before any commission/fees.

Hi, any bros here experienced Crossland's parts turning rusty easily?

Did not encounter any rust on my crossland x. Which part? btw, I go petrol station wash weekly.

The wheel/rim's barrel and door keyholes. These are the visible ones.

Could you provide photo of the rust? What is the color of your car body? And where do you normally park your car? e.g. open or under shelter? Any paint chip?

Hey, I don't have one actually. Just thinking of getting it when I saw rust at those areas I mentioned... Thanks for your reply though! Much appreciated!

Hi,

Has anyone here familiar with Hyundai Venue Auto and Opel Crossland X Enjoy?

I'm currently looking at these 2, hasn't test drive yet will find time but currently leaning towards Crossland with these few points..

  • made in Spain vs India (Venue)
  • better interior built, lots more features
  • higher ARF
  • cheaper roadtax
  • better FC
  • looks more like SUV than Venue?

Some concerns on Crossland though..

  • 3 Cylinders vs 4 (Venue)
  • AG vs Komoco (I now own Hyundai, no complains about Komoco, not familiar with AG at all)

Appreciate if can get some advice here, thanks!
