Yes.

ANA occasionally having promotion for all transit flight from Singapore to Tokyo and out for domestic flight.

Transit can be Haneda or Narita.

Best is fly to Kansai, take ferry to Kobe, have a nice lunch in Kobe then fly out of Kobe airport to Chitose.

I promise there will be no traffic jam taking the ferry to Kobe.

Worst way to Hokkaido is fly into Narita and travel to Haneda to fly to Hokk.

Narita customs can be jammed up and train to Hanada can be packed.

Only Noobs do it this way.

HK, Taiwan or Korean air for layover before reaching Hokkaido

depend on connecting flight and which airport you want to layover for jalan jalan or shopping

I try to registered for the Visit Japan Web, get quite confused.

When I registered wife together as traveling family member,  are we using only one same QR code?

yes. i have entered japan 3 times for the last 2 years

my advice is to register each person with each code

1 code for all (family), some lane the custom officer do not accept the family code (all-in-one)

even i have explained clearly the website allow to do it

for 1 case, i was rejected for using 1 family code for 3 passports ... luckily i got prepare spare ... 1 code for each

1 person = 1 code = 100% sure work ... dai jo bu !
