Honestly, I can't tell that it is a new gen Cayenne with just a quick glance at the photos, too evolutionary imo. Like many I am guessing that Dieselgate is hitting hard on VAG and budget cut on the development of newer Porsche model are evident...

At launch, two turbocharged six-cylinder petrol engines will be available, with 250 kW (340 hp; Fuel consumption combined 9.2–9.0 l/100 km; CO2-emissions 209–205 g/km) in the Cayenne and 324 kW (440 hp; Fuel consumption combined 9.4–9.2 l/100 km; CO2- emissions 213–209 g/km) in the Cayenne S.

Might as well put a 40 inch tv as a central control panel.

The only nice feature about the interior is the badge itself on the wheel.

Better get used to it bro, everyone is putting an ipad in the console (and getting bigger every year). And already many dashboards are using display panels.

Porsche Cayenne Coupe on the Way

http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2018/06/porsche-cayenne-coupe-on-the-way-because-of-course-it-is.html

porsche-cayenne-coupe-render.jpg

According to Autocar, Porsche CEO Oliver Blume has approved a five-door Cayenne Coupe for production. Like other ‘coupe’ variants of crossovers and SUVs, the Cayenne Coupe will likely feature a rearward sloping roofline to give it a sportier overall appearance. The digital rendering above gives us a good idea of how such a product might look.

The Cayenne Coupe will share a platform with the third-generation Cayenne, which was introduced for the 2018 model year, and will feature a similar front end. The majority of changes will happen from the B-pillar back, with the coupe-crossover receiving a liftback-style tailgate and its own unique taillights.

Intended to be a performance-focused version of the already sporty Cayenne, the Cayenne Coupe will be offered with a 440 hp twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 and a 550 hp 4.0-liter V8 from launch, according to Autocar’s report. No diesel versions are planned, which is unsurprising seeing as Europe is slowly shunning the fuel in favor of plug-in hybrids and EVs. Speaking of plug-in hybrids, it’s likely the CayenneCoupe will eventually receive a version of the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid’s 680 hp powertrain as well.

It’s not yet clear when the Cayenne Coupe may first appear, but we’re expecting to see it pop up sometime in early or mid 2019.
