What i think @DACH mean is that Suzuki SHOULD copy the Hustler's interior instead of the van like interior it is having.

Unlike Hustler, Suzuki Jimny got transfer case.

 

It is a work horse unlike Hustler.

Errrrr we are talking about interior here. Work horse or not doesn't mean that the ride can't have a nice interior. If thats the case then the exterior also need not look good. Bare minimum bumper, bonnet, fenders etc with paint is sufficient.

The new Suzuki Jimny is designed to be a utilitarian vehicle and so the interior is designed to be easy and cheap to maintain. 

But can sticker up panels on the dashboard to spice up the interior feel.  

 

But I like the speedometer and tachometer display. Very 80s feel.

Guess Suzuki spruce up the exterior and didn’t bother with the interior then. If they bothered with the interior’s aesthetics then the Jimny will be a poor man’s G550

I think the bumper is not the same material as the body.

I would buy the Jimny if I am looking for a car. Always like Suzuki for reason unknown.

 

Almost bought the Hustler last year but the PI doesn’t give me the confidence. Went back to the building where the PI was last week and the shop is gone...na bei.

I feel if jimny interior is that of hustler, it would look out of place.

 

The rugged interior design sings well with the exterior.

The latest facelifted Jeep Renegade do look more stylish in and out.

 

 

Of course it doesn't have a center diff lock shifter to select high or low diff like the Jimny, it has only the 4x4 mode select for different terrain.

Agreed. Suzuki knows their demographics.

 

Even the headlights are the old school reflective type instead of projector or led lamps which makes more sense.

 

Clearer a very specialized market mainly for off-roading work.
