Bata is not say bad. But it's on lower range of average quality. 

The shoe i bought was like $60+ without sale (since i bought it as emergency use).
But the quality of the sole cushioning is quite lousy. I've bought $20-30 shoes online that have more cushioning. Go figure. 

Between carpark and my workplace, then I didn't mind. Wore it for about 1 year.

But this type of gift,  if I got it.  I likely will just keep keep in office drawer till one day I just throw it away.  Some will also do that.
