yup ... the storage lor ... now only 16gb ... whatapps also stop working ... been reading up on this aftermarket upgrading of the storage chip 32/64/128gb.

 

goto setting -> general -> iphone storage->enable "offload unused Apps" and "optimise photos"  

 

 

This will give u some space

again .... upgrading = $100 .... used phone $500 ??

 

her contract already over since feb ... I was really hoping she would go for android instead ... personally I don't like iPhone, prefer android as more customizable.

 

yup ... warranty over liow ... so nothing to lose also ...

 

and I read someone saying he upgraded to 128 for 6 mths already and speed-wise no diff.

 

if your wife's ip6 battery not been changed before, probably can change. It's likely degraded.

Can change for 38 dollars at wheelock (not sure other places also have)

16gb not tiny la, depend on usage. If you dont housekeep your apps, photo and files in your phone, even 256gb also tiny.  :D

 

16gb is tiny la.

wechat send even more compressed photo than whatapps.

 

upon receiving the photo in wechat, you can then chose to d/l the fullsized pic or not.

 

frankly, wechat is much more functional than whatapps ... only thing good about whatapps is privacy.

surprisingly, my wife's ip6 battery is still very healthy !!

 

heck ... even her ip5c battery is still very healthy !! never change before !!

 

hardware wise, I will say apple is unbeatable !! but I just don't like the s/w restrictions.

Those functional is only applicable if you are in China.

 

Even wechat wallet, non-PRC IC holder can't use to pay non-PRC vendor.

 

Wechat has no privacy hor.  Whatever said or post is subject to scrutinize.

Ming-Chi Kuo is back. The world’s most acclaimed Apple  insider has returned with explosive news on Apple’s pricing plans for its all-new iPhone line-up… 

 
Having moved from KGI to TF International Securities earlier this year, Kuo was expected to step away from Apple reports. But in a major scoop, the analyst reveals Apple will perform a massive U-turn this year slashing prices of its new iPhones by as much as $300.
 
Breaking this down, Kuo states prices for the second gen iPhone X, enlarged iPhone X Plus and exciting ‘budget iPhone X’ will start from as low as $800, $900 and $600 respectively. Given prices for the first generation iPhone X started at $1,000 last year, and Apple is also bundling an essential $100 extra with all its new iPhones this year, that’s a total saving of over $300 including tax.
