Maybe they expect to sell another 20-30mil for the S8 and Note8 but fall short.

 

BTW, 20mil per Q = 80mil a year. $1000 each = $80billion revenue just for iPhoneX? [jawdrop]

 

Easily more than $80b revenue for the X alone I think. Anecdotally, I know the demand is for the more expensive 256GB model.

 

Anyway, why stop at revenue

i know of people who got the ip8 cos simply time to recontract. But i've not heard of anyone who buys 8+. Quite a few people going around with X though.

 

yeah i think the market is just slow. the chinese manufacturers are also slowing down. huawei sales also contracted.

 

maybe it's time to try chinese. the note 8 price is still 1050. While the mate 10 pro is now 920. With the s9+ going to be launched at a high price ... not much options.

 

Don't go for Chinese or even Korean. Stay with the one that can fetch higher resale value. If you find your next phone is too ex still can sell the old one to fetch some cash to offset the high asking price. Whether you are buying new or recontract you pay less.

 

So far only iphones hold better value.

i just naturally prefer android system. LL

 

Anyway i think i'll keep my S6 as a spare phone. I don't have a spare phone currently.

For Android phones I do not know which ones can fetch a higher value.

 

I have both iOS and Android phones. The latter I always get budget ones. Got problem...get new one.

But they don’t have all the Apple Watch model, so far only he aluminium models are available.
