Meanmachine Supercharged April 19, 2018 Share April 19, 2018 United is not back to Glory days yet, current team is blowing hot and cold, result matters most, too many loses and not good enough . . . ↡ Advertisement
Locknload 5th Gear April 19, 2018 Share April 19, 2018 Watched the extended highlights. i feel we played a bit meh, or perhaps it was just how the highlights were strung together. Like some of us, I think the basics got to be done right, before trying the fancy. Agree, fancy footwork like Pogba's display of pizzazz yesterday and the previous match is just considered piss-arse! Accurate passes and shortest route to scoring is paramount.
Locknload 5th Gear April 29, 2018 Share April 29, 2018 ManU 2 (Pogba, Fellaini) - Ars 1(Mkhi) - Home Mkhi came close several times and was instrumental in all the Arsenal attacks but Pogba stabbed in the ball after Sanchez headed against the left post in the 16th minute to put us 1-0 up in the 1st half. Five minutes into the 2nd half, Mkhi scored due to a defensive lapse between Matic and Hererra. Lukaku was injured and replaced by Rashford, with Martial and Fellaini coming on later. A goal was ruled off-side after Fellaini headed against the post and bounced-off Rashford. Mr Elbow later made amends and scored from the back of his mop-hairdo and we're now guaranteed Champions League, with only 2nd-placing for JM's bragging rights. Last visit by Arsene Wenger to OT, where he hasn't won for 11.5 years as he bids farewell to his 22 years of dedicated service to the Gunners. Glory!
Locknload 5th Gear May 4, 2018 Share May 4, 2018 ManU 0 - Bha 1 - (Away) Brighton were playing neat football with good control and having more shots at goal, while we giving the ball away, losing the headers and just plain sloppy, even though we had more possession. JM looks disappointed and would surely give the players a piece of his mind in the dressing room for lack of consistency and aggression. The 2nd half saw Fellaini, Darmian and Rojo being replaced by Lingaard, Shaw and Mctominay but as many have said, we blow hot and cold, with Brighton scoring in the 57th minute. We still need 4 more points to be runners-up. GGMU!
Newbie26 Hypersonic May 5, 2018 Share May 5, 2018 Mourinho may be right on paper the players should be good But maybe not as good as we think 3 coaches, millions and millions of investments, still dont look any where near a EPL winning side somehow so many game changers in other teams look "changed" or "zapped" once they join the MU ManU 0 - Bha 1 - (Away) Brighton were playing neat football with good control and having more shots at goal, while we giving the ball away, losing the headers and just plain sloppy, even though we had more possession. Locknload 5th Gear May 10, 2018 Share May 10, 2018 ManU 0 - Whu 0 (Away) We had more possession and more attempts at goal during the 1st half but nothing to show for. West Ham's Arnautovic was their best player and David Moyes will be happy to gain a point here after having lost 4-1 when we last met. Just one point to cement 2nd placing to ManC. It was a better showing in the 2nd half in that Pogba and Noble got into a scuffle and that was the only excitement but still nothing to show for. Sanchez has yet to find his footing and both Rashford and Lingaard are yet to be the strikers that JM needs, hopefully we get better players for next season.

Genes 6th Gear May 11, 2018 Share May 11, 2018 no wonder the highlights i watched all ended around the 70th minute. Apparently absolutely nothing exciting happened i guess. Hope the boys will be able to raise themselves for Carrick's 2nd "testimonial" match, and then on to the FA final!
Locknload 5th Gear May 19, 2018 Share May 19, 2018 FA CUP FINAL (Wembley) ManU 0 - Che 1 (Hazard-Pen) We had better possession at 66%, but Phil Jones gave away a penalty when he brought Hazard down in the box and he sent De Gea going the wrong way and it was 0-1, although we should have got one back during the last moments of the 1st half. The killer-instinct was missing as Lukaku was on the bench. Better showing in the 2nd half with Lukaku, Martial and Mata coming on for Rashford, Lingaard and Jones (who had a clash of heads and bleeding from his forehead) but again nothing to show for (except with 2nd placing) as missed chances from Pogba, Rashford, Martial with Sanchez having a goal ruled offside through VAR, was something that Sir Alex would have needed to recover much sooner from his ailment. Expecting some new signings for the next season to replace those under-performing ones for better MU glory days.
