Lunch at fish and Co.

The peri peri fish I dunno why so many Chilli seeds but not very spicy lol. Irritating picking the seeds out. Still tasted ok. Fish and chips were good!

 

Attempt at making 卤肉. Wanted something my wife can eat for the next two days (in laws on holiday). Used 五花肉 instead of pork belly. Not as fatty so ended up bit more dry. Didn't braise very long due to my pressure cooker seal had some issues which took some time to resolve. and my additional spices were bit strong (think too much cloves). Slightly herbal taste.

Need to ask my mum what's her recipe. But should be able to get a decent taste after a few more tries.

Instant Noodles - Part 2, Myojo Ee Noodle, with larger noodle cake added ikan bilis, mushrooms and dried egg bits. Better than standard instant noodle, but nothing to shout about for quality. Good for supper, not meal replacement definitely.

Lamb steak with basil, omelette, old English sausages, onion and garlic with yakiniku sauce.

 

 

After lunch, enjoy some ice cream in this hot day.
