in the 70s, my place downstairs market, got prawn noddles selling $0.80 only.

 

those were the good old days...

 

yesterday was invited to a gathering. Just a few old friends and the lovely hosts prepared some simple home-cooked dishes.

Trying this for dinner tonight with view to buy more to stock up for CNY.

Comes with a packet of braised gravy, meat has little fat with gelatinous skin. I like the robust unsweetened gravy, may modify it with addition of vinegar next time.

 

 

 

Couldn't finish, refrigerating it.

In term of the satay Mee Rebus, I prefer yunos n family, also in AMK. But Rahim is also good.

But weather a bit hot...perspire and slurp at the same time....

No matter how nice the food in atas restaurant .... I will still choose a plate of nice wanton noodle anytime
