two more matches! two more matches to number 6!

 

not every season you can go to a semi and leading 5 : 2 into return leg.

 

I say give every things in the next working matches of champion league league! league top 4 can leave till last Brighton at our home.

I believe this is also the ideal game plan and hence we saw how soft pool players played and not get themselves injured. Look at ox.....haiz.

ox should be tough and strong.

 

the downside if we lose momentum it might affect confidence.

On the bright side.. 0-0 with no injury is a good scold against leg kicking stock. Furthermore this is not a good time to play against relegation team. Edited by Joseph22

No la. I want to finish higher than last season. Or at the very minimum not lower.

 

If after the kind of season we had this year we still finish 4th - let alone 5th - then really jia lat... When LS had THAT year we finished 2nd and only by a whisker. Despite mo Bobby and man's best efforts we are miles away from city.

all will be forgiven and forgotten if Pool win UCL this season. just like in 2005.

But last season, no UCL and no Europa also, if I recalled correctly. That is why we can concentrate on getting Top 4, and grinding results week in week out. I will cut them a bit of slack for the sheer volume of minutes our first XI need to handle. If can qualify for Top 4, I will be happy liao. Next season, priority is squad depth. The end of season injury list is really jin scary

last two matches against WBA and stroke the (2 out of 3 relegated-likely) we only gotten two points of out ! tell me this isn't the distraction from champion league!

those 2 teams are within the relegation zone and LFC is in the top 4, ....there are reasons for this and the goal difference also speaks volume.

 

don't get me wrong,,,,been and still am a LFC fan for some 50 years liao and a huge fan of JK......, but I think he got the 2 last EPL games wrong.

 

imho....unless we are in the UEFA final, there is nothing you can truly prioritize since you could lose them all...UEFA 2018, UEFA 2019 as well as a better prize money from the EPL.

 

protecting players by resting them is something I personally do not favour....it's the job of the referees to protect the players but that said,...sadly the english referees increasingly sucks with each season.

 

resting the better players does not necessarily guarantee their performance going into their next game, or that they will not injure themselves during training or fall ill before the next game.

 

i see it differently,..best players on the field equates to less horsework and less injuries.

Firmino had today agreed terms on a new long-term contract with Liverpool.

 

The forward has committed his future to the Reds by agreeing a fresh deal at Melwood on Sunday.

 

Firmino told Liverpoolfc.com: “It was an easy decision.

 

“The club have taken me in in an incredible way and I’ve grown a lot here with my work with the support of the whole team. I am very, very happy here.

 

“Everything fits in the best possible way. My teammates are fantastic and I am very grateful to be able to play with them at this club.

 

“I love to play for Liverpool FC. The fans are excellent and fantastic in how they support us all the way. They support us throughout the games and the work they do during the match is beautiful.”

 

Firmino joined Liverpool from Hoffenheim in the summer of 2015 and has made 140 appearances, scoring 50 goals.

 

This season has been the most prolific of the Brazilian’s career to date, with 27 strikes registered in 50 outings for the Reds.
