although i hated that pool conceded 2 needless goals in the last minutes, i cant fault klopp too much on him taking out salah. ask urself the same question....team easily leading 5nil, in cruise control, big games ahead.....wont we want to protect our star players? 

 

what if he didnt sub salah out n salah got injured? then all the fans will say "wth...already leading by 5 goals, y nvr rest salah??!! stupid sia klopp....risk him for full game for wat?!?!"

 

the fact is the team needs to learn how to defend...with or without salah. yes....a 5 goal lead is gd to have, but a win by 3 goals is not too bad. 

 

n now roma will come out next wk smelling blood, believing that they can score at least 3, go out for the kill.....n will leave behind gaps for pool's front 3 to exploit. or at least that's wat we can hope for.

Not impossible for Roma since they won 3-0 against Barca and Chelsea.

 

I suspect away goals would decide the tie.

Why blame klopp?

If he knows that Loveren would made that mistake he would have sub him out.

If not for klopp,salah wont be here.

Klopp was interested in salah and liverpool was the only team that made an offer to Roma.

If klopp was to blame for everything,then blame him for bringing salah to liverpool.

 

If u cant support your team when losing,then can support other winning team or go watch other sports.

 

Anyway,we did not even lose this match.........

we won the game with a cushion right? dun rest now, rest when? who else to rest? if i not wrong, we are literally down to barebones

 

penalty was debatable i guess

 

loverns mistake + karius near post => that is klopp's mistake for insisting both are world class

 

resting players with a 5 goal cushion is not a mistake imo

yes it was a 5 goals cushion.

 

now only 2 goals cushion!!!!!!

 

hope our boy can better than Messi,lus surea and companies. hope our defence can withstand the hostile atmosphere. relentless attack for 90 minutes!

 

hope salah and companies can steal a goal or two.

apparently there was an attack on pool's fans:

 

Liverpool Football Club is shocked and appalled after a Liverpool supporter was left in a critical condition having been attacked prior to the Champions League fixture against AS Roma.

Our thoughts, in the first instance, are with the victim and his family at this very traumatic time. We will be offering them our full support.

The club has been liaising with the emergency services since the incident occurred and will continue to do so.

the stabbing was reported prior to the start of game. I saw it on bbc during the game.

Btw I don't like Pool fan throwing flares/stones to visitor team bus either...

Those stupid fans better behave before UEFA giving heavy punishment to club..

Yes, Roma has beaten Barca 3 - 0. But I'm hoping Pool can again emerge 1 - 2 winners, just like at City.

Actually... true.

 

While Pool has slowly crawled back to where it has been back in the 80s/90s, when they were dominant at home and abroad, I hope the fans have not also gone back to those hooligan days, creating trouble which later culminated in Heysel and Pool being banned from Europe for the trouble...

We all want a explosive Liverpool brand of football on the pitch. Troublemaker pls stay away from my beloved club. Don't proclaim ur love for the club but on another end tarnish it reputation.

It is still good margin with a 3 goal lead. Just play our normal game will do. No need to sit back and be a sitting duck. They will sure push forward. Meanwhile, unleash our trio on the other end and see them do the work. Unless their defence so to-kong like the Barca match, I would like to think we can sneak a goal or two and put the pressure back to Roma

2 goals cushion. not 3 goals. if Roma score 3 goals we are out.

 

the only safe route is for us to score two goals as well.

Guys guys, give credit when due.

 

Loveren did miss time his jump that led to the conceded goal, but he also put in few good tackles that was just as important and a brave one too.

 

Hopefully we can keep to our nerve. We ousted mancity with their relentless attacks,should have the confidence to see iut roma.
