And even if sub Salah out, should sub with a defender to tighten the back, why Ings? Somehow I feel Klopp took things lightly when they were 5-0 infront. Naive or underestimated Roma, I am not sure.

 

And trying to bring Klavan in at the 92nd minute mark? Come on.......

What a game. Roma to their credit, took the game to us.

What a scoreline :

Salah 36′ (assist – Firmino)

Salah 45′ (assist – Firmino)

Mane 56′ (assist – Salah)

Firmino 61′ (assist – Salah)

Firmino 69′ (assist – Milner)

Dzeko 81′ (assist – Nainggolan)

Except for about the first and last 10-15 minutes, we were in control.

The tie should have been dead and buried when we are 5-0 up after 70 minutes, but allow Roma to score 2 Away goals.

Thus it is by no means over, as Roma will feel that the same scoreline over Barca will see them through.

This is a game that one away goal from us might not do the trick.

The injury to Ox looks bad.

We are down to near minimum strength.

I think if you saw the match you wouldn't feel that great. Up 5-0 then sub Mo out and immediately tables were turned. This happened at west brom too. I don't know why JK doesn't realise this. 

 

The truth is - and I have stopped myself from saying this for a long time - i feel we ARE actually a one man team or at least close to one. Many people say this pool squad is not a OMT like the days of Torres and Suarez. But actually without Mo, the other 2 (Mane and Bobby) are only half of what they are. Or put it another way, Mo makes them twice better. The thing is on top of the tangible numbers of his goals and assist, his presence on the field does have intangible effects too. Opposition teams are focused on him and trying to contain him. Once he is sub out, it's like the opposition team knows they can start having a go at us. And in typical fashion we will start succumbing.
