Watched LFC last two league games and had this feeling slowly building up within me.

It appears that everyone in the team is trying to make Salah win all the allocates that he is in the running. Nothing really wrong with this but I slowly beginning to see that by doing so, the fluidity in our game which has gotten us this far is eroding.

I see passes that can be made to other players in a better position being pass on to Salah for no apparent reason than hoping for Salah to pull off something magical and scores at the expense of players in a better position. Salah started taking long shots from outside the penalty box and trying too hard to weave his magic to get pass opposition players to get to scoring positions unsuccessfully.

I hope I am wrong but if this continue to the CL Semi Finals against Roma, my fear is that it could backfire against us.

Salah winning the golden boot or contesting in the World Player of the Year are good to have and a reward of his fantastic contributions to the team thus far. But the season is yet to be over and for the last few yards of the season, I hope all LFC players, Salah inclusive realised the importance of getting team results even if it's at the expense of individual allocates.

I hope to be proven wrongly.

Had a chat with Klopp & Salah yesterday on this... They admitted playing for Salah in the EPL but will play our usual game for CL. In fact the game plan was for Salah to draw their defenders to create more space for others
