Liverpool 2017/18: YNWA with Klopp

top 4 is pretty much confirmed... was already confident about this looking at how Arsenal & Chelsea were playing few mths back.

 

but for CL, 3 nil up yet feeling very stressed. I can see our defence has improved a lot recently and we probably has the best defensive record in CL & EPL over the last 10+ games yet the mind keep on replaying all the defensive blunders we had early on in the season.

Front 3 is settled unless Salah is still out.

Midfield we have Ox, Milner and Gini.

Back 4 the worry is LB, if Robertson and Moreno are both out.

It's the Sub bench that will be an issue. We are short of midfielders, given that JH is suspended, Lallana still out, leaving CAN as an outside bet.

We are pretty thin all round. Hopefully what we have is enough to carry us over the line.

If he didn't foul and they got a goal then at 3 - 1 all they need is to win 2 - 0 and they go thru.

i think this has been discussed here before. basically can have up to 5 EPL teams in UCL next season (top 4 and Arsenal in your friend's example). the only scenario that 4th place cannot enter UCL is if say 5th place team win UCL and 6th place team wins UEL, which is not possible already for this season.
