dont understand why many are saying that if couti is sold, means the owners r contented on finishing top 4 only n not going for the title. 

 

2 things. earnings and player's heart. if the player is willing to play elsewhere, then the club should get as much money as possible for his move. ok...some will say that couti is not pushing for the move. but....why r there reports saying that he had agreed to the move? he can simply tell barca...wait for next season. i'll move by then.

 

klopp's word is certain, he doesnt want to sell. but...perhaps the club has spoken to couti n asked him if he wants to move. thats how the terms hv been agreed. if both said "no go" to barca, then i believe barca will go away n come back another day.

 

so for me, i wont blame the owners n say that the club is not going for the title.

Supposedly Barca already agreed terms with Dortmund's Dembele for 80 mil.

 

Hopefully LFC can ward off Barca for 1 more year. Though I'm not optimistic.

If we lose coutinho, my preference would be to try and sign Eriksen. Though that's a tall order since Spurs don't need the cash.

1. can get into first team
2. can win honours
3. can earn big bucks
4. likes the club (reputation)
5. likes the city
6. likes the weather

 

For spurs, they only offer #1 and #5 now. Normally most players look at #2 and #3. If no #2, then #3 will at least keep them contended. If #3 also don't have, then when others dangle the cash, who will stick around for too long?
