When I saw the Kidney Grill, I thought someone edited the pictures. I went to google the new 7-series and LOLed. It may look weird on pictures but there is a chance that it looks good in person.

 

But regardless of how large the kidney grill becomes, buyers will still go for the badge and prestige.

IMO, it looks awkward with the LCI 7 series. As for the new X5, guess the size of the SUV helps to cushion the effect of the new grill....
