harrier has an omv of 33830.

does anyone know how come the official name for harrier is HARRIER G GRADE PETROL. Are all the parts differentiation between the 3 variant all locally fitted ?

Which model has an OMV of $33830?

I thought all specs are original made in Japan.

There is only 1 turbo model listed in the list of average omv statistics released by lta and I assume it belongs to the premium grade Edited by camrysfe

Initially she said Dec. Then update me to say maybe can push for Nov (maybe inside news only BM SEs knows..not sure) if secured COE.

Hopefully everyone delivery get pushed up earlier.

Note the prices of the Harrier in BM's latest price list!

Guess the strong sales numbers of Harrier Turbo must have started to push new car delivery dates into Jan 18. That's why new buyers with later shipments have to pay $10k more as new VES policy kick in 1 Jan 18.

If deliveries go beyond VES-D Day, then it's not an ideal to buy the car.

Wait til the COE levels settle, and then see how much more one needs to pay..

On the other hand those who have been vacillating and need a car will pay the price..

Agree.  Next year (after this VES rush), COEs should soften - with economic outlook so bad so VES up $10k maybe COE down 10k or more

I don't think the elegance model escape the 10k surcharge. It is just that there is enough stock this year which will Siam the ves surcharge

Harrier is a 150k car, most of the buyers are financially more established than the b&b car buyers , they do not mind forking out 7k more for the premium or even the luxury model, resulting in lower demand for the elegance model, it is why BM has existing stock to fulfil their bookings before the 10k surcharge kicks in by Jan. Dont get me wrong, B&B car also have rich people, some B&B buyers "cash and carry" their car also. Edited by Ct3833

Today's news say non Euro6 compliant cars are sold at discount cos dealers wat to clesr stock...but to me its still a mystery which models are compliant which models aren't.

Same engine, gearbox and body. Has to be same VES charge.

It's just that they can register by 31/12. After that will be same $10k up.

i wonder if it makes business sense for BM to bring in the NA harrier to avoid the VES surcharge.

I'm. Car purcahse for most part is emotional buying. Like it? Yes. Within spending means? Yes. Then all hell broke loss by justification and more justifications as to why the decision to buy
