Biggest plus point: Seems like only the Elegance can order now and still deliver before 31/12.  Premium and Luxury they can't guarantee delivery before VES kicks in.   Should check with Borneo Motors if you're keen.

I will like to check if anyone has placed order for the premium package recently and was asked to sign a form that indicated that we will need to pay extra 10K for tax if the car is delivered after 1st Jan 2018.

 

I have just placed my premium package order today. Was told that the delivery date should be 2nd half of Dec 2017. Not sure if I took too much risk to order the premium package but not just go for the basic on which car is available.

 

Understand that there is another group for harrier owner, hope someone can share with me where to join the group.

Well - I don't think any PI here in SG practice $10K deposit for COE and pay rest of full payment/loan when the car is delivered. Most PI ask for 30~50% when they have your COE under their your name. Here is the catch and you can go validate with the Police

 

1. I pay $10K for COE to PI. PI ask a finance company to bid the COE for them. In fact the PI did not pay the finance company a cent and the dealing between them is like a loan.

2. PI Ask for 30~50% payment when they have your name on the COE

3. Upon collection, they ask for full payment + loan if any.

4. The PI I'm talking about is with Exodus Global - a huge PI at Ubi will all the top notch cars. I was more unfortunate then the rest of other victim, since most of them lost their 30~50% deposit (probably 40~50 of us)?

5. For me I was oversea for business when they call me and state the car is ready for collection. I ask my wife to issue a post date money order or cheque. She was heavily pregnant - delivering with the month and I was rushing work done to head back to Singapore to accompany her. She issue the cheque to the PI and they called her it bounced for whatever reason. Due to her condition, she did a TT transfer in full. I return back to SG that night and suppose to collect the car the next day morning. Went to Exodus Global and they stat some issue as Boss went oversea. - I started to smell a fish. I demand an answer and on that day (Sat) I called LTA and find my name not register at all.

6. Next Monday I went there to find the Owner of Exodus Global, he was hiding here and there but found him. He says he is in a finance situation and need cash to roll so tool my money for that. I demand he give back my $ or handle over the car.

7. I make police report and even went to Singapore court to see the judge.

8. They declare business closed

9. I gather around about 40~50 victim

 

10. The car he have on display don't belongs to him. It all comes from the big PI - I can even give you the names

 

11. He took the money$ and declare bankrupt. The Police and SG Judge says this is within the law, nothing wrong with that. Police still investigating since then till down and it's coming to A YEAR~!!!!!

 

12. I ask my friends to look out for ths PI owner and he opened another PI already last few months and he's probably getting cars from those few big PI.

13. I even received lawyer letter from finance company to pay them the $10K for the COE! Because exodus Global never pay them the money$ Although the COE is under my name, I cannot utlize the COE!!! I wrote to LTA and many of the victim approach the LTA and they don't what to do!!!! SO all our COE lapse and been confiscated by LTA!!

 

Tell me guys - ask yourself how much you knows about Singapore law and LTA? obviously the crooks knows all the f**king loop holes. I get so piss off when the judge told my 9 mths pregnant wife to get out as it's wasting his time. Singapore is a lost system...everyone jus wayang wayang..........bloody Ciao Chee Buy

 

 

BTW my friend who is my classmate has family who is one of the biggest PI in SG. his advice, don't buy from PI. He himself get his Porsche from agent!!!!

 

Ask yourself how much you knows about Singapore law and LTA before you buy from PI again! You don't know shit and that's why all the f**king stupid commends.

IMO if can avoid PI do it 5000%. 2 experiences I had while window shop at PI.

THE PI friend threw in many freebies and can even reduce price further if commit that day. The next moment (few mths later) the company was in the news... Closed down(by then aldy driving my qq).Think the boss aldy intend to close and run therefore all those freebies and reduced price to close the deal. Am sure none of these freebies or reduce price will be honoured.

 

2) Last week, went to TC again to see PI Harrier (see see look look only), the salesman kept saying why consider HT, power still lose to theirs, they can deliver to me in a few days and last straw was he can reduce price from 147kto 140k, 7k without even a blind of an eye or confirmation from his boss wow....mana ada system

Initially she said Dec. Then update me to say maybe can push for Nov (maybe inside news only BM SEs knows..not sure) if secured COE.

i also bought from exodus global... but im super duper lucky...

upon confirmation of SPA, they wanted 20k dp but i said im only willing to pay 10k and they accepted it..

 

3mths++ 0 bid for coe.. damn frustrated and asked for refund of my $10k...guess what? they did and i received my $10k in full....

Your contract is only 3 months non-guaranteed COE. Unless if you went for the Gold Bid. If by 3 months you still haven't gotten the COE, you have to rebook and repeat the entire process.

 

As for collection of car, no, contract says premium, how can make you take elegance? Not possible.

Yes, my friend who bought after me signed for the Premium but decided to change to Luxury variant after 2-3 weeks. The SE was helpful in doing up the paperwork to change his order, including change of colour.  He just had to top up $7K for the Luxury from his original purchase price for the Premium. No need to go down to sign any documents. Just need to send the SE an email. No hassle. No fuss.

 

I would say that if you can afford the extra $7K, go for the Luxury with fully loaded features. After all, you are already paying $150K++ for a car and should go the full extent to enjoy the car fully via the top trim/highest spec variant with just a little extra investment.

 

On BTW, just noted that BM had increased the $ difference of the Luxury to the Premium variant to a gap of $8K now from $7K previously.

It is easy to set up a business in Singapore, good or bad, it is debateable. 

Car buyer needs to be extra careful, it is not a $1-2 dollars item we can easily forget and move on.

Any PI/Companies can claim their price is lowest, so car buyers need to calculate the risk as well, safer than depending 3rd parties intervention and rescue you later on.

does anyone know how come the official name for harrier is HARRIER G GRADE PETROL. Are all the parts differentiation between the 3 variant all locally fitted ?
