What's the latest BM Harrier 2.0L turbo pricing? So I won't go down to embarrass myself.

 

Do not worry even if you are driving humble car now or no wheels currently.

 

If you are serious about buying, they will give you attention. If you are going to Ferrari or Porsche showroom then yes maybe they will see you no up, but Toyota is common man's car. They know every person who step in is potential buyer.

 

Just go down, feel, touch, ask. Usually their SEs are not pushy.

They didn't seem to adjust their prices down despite the lower COE levels... 

Maybe it's the VES surcharge?

 

I believe so. and also the big asterisk beside the figures haha... better to ask the SEs.

Is anyone facing the same problem with aircon setting? Not sure if other harrier owners have encountered similar problem. Every thing was fine until I accidentally pressed the aircon button and changed the setting for the vent. Now, even after selecting only top vent, air will still blow out from bottom vent. When I select both top and bottom vent, air only blows out from bottom vent. I went to mark-cool to troubleshoot and was told that I will need to find someone who can reset the system. Else, I have to change the control panel which cost >$500.

Can go to workshop and do a reset on the ECU. 

 

Any idea where I can do that? I have no more warranty. I asked around a few workshops and was told that they don't do that.

Considering getting the Harrier, want to ask some Q here to help my decision.

 

1 Does BM give out free servicing like 3yr, 5 yrs etc?

 

2. What the cost of servicing at BM.? say vs outside WS

 

3. Say if BM only give 3x servicing...then after the 3 x servicing can i bring the car to outside workshop?

 

4. If i use BM insurance when buying the car...say after 3 months, can i cancel the insurance and buy my own insurance?

1. Yes, dependent on current promo, sometimes have up to free 3 years maintenance. But those cover basic maintenance only, some items like change ATF/coolant still need to top-up.

 

2. Maybe 800-1k+ per year. Prices are stated in borneo website, go take a look

 

3. Yes you can, but run risk of void warranty

 

4. That is not very clever and even if possible, will not save you much as there is always cancellation penalty. If you are buying 150k car, should not be so hard up to save a couple hundred bucks right?

Why not just drop by LK and see whether they can give you the same offer as the private event? I believe if you are ready to sign now, they ready to give the offer to you
