Vios06 1st Gear September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 sorry i must have missed this, can you remind me what's the issue with the GPS? I tried using the forum search function but was unable to achieve with much success TIA My SE called to tell me car has arrived. While chatting I told about forummers' feedback regarding HU audio and GPS. He acknowledged both issues (radio reception and GPS) and said solutions are available. I cannot verify yet but those who still have these issues, please contact BM.
Aloe111 5th Gear September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 Can someone place a comparison of the three trims again please? Thanks Bro, better to make a trip down and look-see, and get specs sheet. You can also do an online comparison... click all the 3 trims from Borneo Motor... http://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/newcars_listing.php?MOD=toyota+harrier&PR1=0&PR2=&DEP=&VT=Any&DT=Any Think there's a mistake in the 2nd table. Gives the wrong impression that Lux ver don't have power tailgate. sorry i must have missed this, can you remind me what's the issue with the GPS? I tried using the forum search function but was unable to achieve with much success TIA Few pages back someone commented that Gps likes to 'go dutch'. You collected yours? therock Supersonic September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 You are tempted? ;) No, it's for a friend, who is in two minds on whether she should buy now or wait out the VES surge and wait for the COE to settle then commit next year when her car is due..
Thaiyotakamli Supersonic September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 The speedometer only max at 180. What is the max you reach? How's the stability?Almost 190 but do note that harrier speedometer is 10kmh slower than actual speed at speed above 100. My gps reading shows my speed 10kmh slower Its stable and good but road noise is expected at such speed

Thaiyotakamli Supersonic September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 (edited) I think aside from EN language and some other localisation like spare tyre, the car is lock stock the same as JDM. All JDM cars are speed limited to 180. Also the speedo already max out at 180, even if can go faster you can't tell unless you install another GPS speedo, or if you are pacing another car Yes thats why i can hit 190 but in reality its 180You drove Harrier at such speed? Brave man.Awhile only at straight empty road. I normally goes 130-140 This is what i managed to take after hitting 190. Not enough time to take too late to take out the cam lol And this is my friend harrier Edited September 1, 2017 by Thaiyotakamli

Ct3833 Supersonic September 1, 2017 Share September 1, 2017 Almost 190 but do note that harrier speedometer is 10kmh slower than actual speed at speed above 100. My gps reading shows my speed 10kmh slower ..... having speedometer reading 10kmh faster than actual is not a Harrier's peculiarity, it happens to many other brands as well. This is a intended design, not a defect. Most of the automobile manufactures make their speedometer a few KMH faster than actual. And using stock rim from factory hence theres no way its a miscalculated from the speedometer. Hence i suspect the automaker did this to slow down the speed of the drivers In fact last time toyota crown taxi also experience this issue as i feel their 90 is slow and hence u see them hogging on first lane Edited September 1, 2017 by Thaiyotakamli

Mkl22 Supersonic September 2, 2017 Share September 2, 2017 10kmh is excessive My current civic is abt 4kmh It depends on what speed you are at. At 180, 10 is ok. It's a % error
