Hi Clement,

2 weeks driving Harrier NA and 2 test drive of Harrier Turbo and my experience is certainly different.

Harrier NA is way under powered and yes, betta on power mode but nowhere near Harrier Turbo and worse still .... noisy engine sound with spirit driving whereas Harrier Turbo is fine. Also must consider default mode and cannot be pressing power mode of Harrier NA and can expect 6-7km/l in addition to the noise.

Suspension of Harrier Turbo is also improved and it helps pick up as well as overall ride ... less floating and bulky for the Harrier Turbo

Cheers,

Richard

I tested harrier NA in nshw, normal mode cmi but in power mode its more than adequate. In fact its responsive and quite good. Somehow i feel its about the same power delivered by f10 520i in nshw.

Going to 180 with effortless and road noise i would say not that good either not that bad. Harrier NA still very silent on 130kmh.

I noticed that new HT and harrier NA used the same tyre. So expect the same road noise unless HT has better soundproofing which i dont think so. Interior wise harrier premium NA feels more luxury to me. But HT luxury version comes with pre crash and aircon seat which is a plus point. It also comes with auto parking brake which adds more space into driver's footwell. The sequential lighting is nice but i prefer harrier na signal light.

Overall new HT is a better version of harrier na with more power and options. But at the price of 25-35k more expensive and addition of 10k cev, wonder really worth it anot to get luxury version. Maybe just get HT elegance at 151k

The speedometer only max at 180. What is the max you reach? How's the stability?

Brochure stated max speed 180km/hr for HT. Is that eletronically limited ? Or can't make it ?

I am pretty certain that is electronically limited.

If you don't mind red color, apparently you can pick up the car very quickly.

My SE called to tell me car has arrived. While chatting I told about forummers' feedback regarding HU audio and GPS. He acknowledged both issues (radio reception and GPS) and said solutions are available. I cannot verify yet but those who still have these issues, please contact BM.

I think aside from EN language and some other localisation like spare tyre, the car is lock stock the same as JDM. All JDM cars are speed limited to 180.

Also the speedo already max out at 180, even if can go faster you can't tell unless you install another GPS speedo, or if you are pacing another car

If removed the speed limiter, will get into warranty issue ...
