- when oil price globally was plunging, govt suddenly increase tax on oil

- carpark charges rising because "we haven't raised prices for too long"

- "degree not important" but our ministers/generals/CEOs are scholars

- "every school a good school" but our kids are all studying in RI

- "we want to encourage financial prudence" but make it easier to loan for car purchases

- "increase entrepreneurship in Singapore" aka allow foreign startups to grab funding here

Just like the Jag XE diesel.

CO2 only 109 and currently enjoy rebate for being green.

Come next year it become a pollutant spewing machine and attracts penalty.
