The recent low coe think was last seen at 48k, then after which coe always hover between 49-53k.

The last round Cat A COE dropped to to $46K level was in the Feb 2017, 1st bid – that was the 2nd bid AFTER the Singapore Motor Show. It dropped from $52K to $46,401.

History has repeated itself. Today’s bid is also the 2nd bid, after the Cars at Expo Motor Show. COE dropped from $51K to $46K range.

More or less can see how the distributors exploit, manipulate & control the COE system, with the full support of the relevant authorities.

Cat C is slowly being forgotten. Maybe the demand from Cat A filtered to Cat C, which ended above 30,000, about 16K below Cat A.

Maybe it's a good school holiday discount for parents to visit showrooms?

Wah piang, every time drop people will come in with the same story about how COE going to plunge liao.

There are many people at the sidelines ready to jump in at their target price. Economy bad is relative, you may be in a social circle where everyone one is having a hard time, someone else is in a social circle where they wondering which second/third property to invest in.

Agreed with your view on CAT C bumpy crop had shift some demand from CAT A to CAT C due to price sensitvity.

Cat A sales not so good last 2 weeks because Altis is back to $110k and Civic at $115k, unlike the previous months where Altis was going for less than $100k and civic at $110k.

Their 9 year old cars will also release some new COEs in the market.

It's a backlog of people who are only willing to pay <45k.

At $1, the backlog will be way more than 600 [laugh]

$1 backlog is 10 million because every sinkapoorean will want to buy 2 cars each.

Good news and congratulations to those who got their COEs.

Those who need one and have been waiting can now go and make your dream come true. No need to wait till drop to 30k. Don't think it's going to happen.

I see what you're saying about history repeating itself , following the two car shows. But how does this imply that distributors are exploiting, manipulating and controlling the COE system?

Don't worry, if you drive for 8 years, the actual COE value of your car will only remain a distant memory.

Whatever the case, another round of COE bidding is over. Before the next bidding, allow me to congratulate those who have gotten their COE!

Now should see altis 105k and civic 110k since coe drop 4k plus.
