I have never came across one so far. Do you happen to have any photos of them?

Unimog have been in service for a long long time, easily 30 years or more. Good al terrain vehicle, but I guess FC and emission sucks...

Maybe Lamborghini may introduce some clothes made of this material under it's apparel line, but don't think will be affordable for the masses. :a-confused:

This is even better “entirely new impregnation system”

This is the 1st generation Mazda MPV, which was not sold in Singapore.

autowp.ru_mazda_mpv_68.jpeg

autowp.ru_mazda_mpv_148.jpeg

The special thing about this first people mover from Mazda is with the drive train and transmission.

The MPV was designed from the ground-up as a minivan specifically for the American market, and was introduced in 1988 for the 1989 model year. It was based on the large rear-wheel-drive LV platform of the Mazda 929, and this larger platform allowed such options as a V6 engine, and optional four-wheel drive. However this large platform created some liabilities in other markets. When it was introduced in Japan in January 1990, it was regarded as a luxury vehicle, as its engine displacement and exterior dimensions exceeded Japanese government regulations for vehicles classified as "compact", and as a result, Japanese buyers were liable for additional annual taxes.

Its selectable 4WD system is not to be confused with all road conditions "all-wheel-drive" systems; the MPV can be switched into locked 4WD with a switch mounted on the column gear selector. A dash mounted switch controlled the center differential, creating a locked power distributions on the front and rear axles. The 4WD is not for use on dry roads, but can be engaged and disengaged while moving.

This was also the only Mazda MPV generation with a manual transmission, offered in the '89 through '91 model years. The middle row was available as a 3-person bench, allowing seating for eight, when most minivans only seated seven.

This is not a normal W124...

autowp.ru_mercedes-benz_e500_7.jpeg

I know you will be screaming in your heart, what the heck is Carbon82 talking about? What can be so special about this >20 years old Mercs? Well, the answer started from the model badge, on it boot cover...

Mercedes Benz W124 500E ('91 - '93) / E500 ('93 - '95)

autowp.ru_mercedes-benz_e500_10.jpeg

mercedes-benz_e_500_limited_24.jpg

From 1991 to 1994, Mercedes-Benz sold a high-performance version of the W124, the Mercedes-Benz 500 E (W124.036). It was created in close cooperation with Porsche; each was hand-built by Porsche, being transported back and forth between the Mercedes plant and Porsche's Rossle-Bau plant in Zuffenhausen, Germany during assembly — taking a full 18 days to complete each model. Design began in 1989 and into 1991. Called '500 E' through model year 1993, for model year 1994 it was face-lifted along with the rest of the range and renamed to 'E 500'.

The 500 E had a naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 engine derived from the 500 SL (R129) roadster. Called the "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" by the press, performance tests of the day yielded impressive results: 0–100 km/h times of 5.5 to 6.0 seconds and acceleration through the quarter-mile in 14.1 seconds at 163 km/h. The top speed was redline limited at 6,000 rpm to 260 km/h. It was rated at 16.8 L/100 km (5.9 Km/L) in the city and 13.8 L/100 km (7.2 Km/L) on the highway.

Because of its look, limited numbers, hand-built construction, and unique pedigree, the 500 E is already considered a "classic", even within Mercedes-Benz. Only 10,479 units of 500E & E500 were built between 1990 - 1995.

1990 => 46 units
1991 => 2,566 units
1992 => 4,416 units
1993 => 1,596 units
1994 => 1,735 units
1995 => 120 units

The 120 units produced between January to May 1995, were last-request cars for special customers before the series ceased production. These last cars were produced in the Porsche Rossle Bau building alongside Audi RS2 sport wagons, as that production contract went into full swing with the same work-staff that built the 500E and E500.

Now you know why I get so excited earlier, when I thought I spotted a E500 on our road... [:|]

Want to make a guess how many cup holders can a passenger vehicle have? Any car, be it a 2 seater coupe, 4 door sedan, MPV, SUV, etc.

I hear 8, or was it 10? What? >10?? Well, I am sure you will be as surprised as me when I revealed the answer...

...

...

...

BN-WW193_backgr_16U_20180105121318.jpg

Each red rot denote a cup holder, so start counting now. [dizzy]  And BTW, also make a guess which car is this... [:p]

OK, now got it? I mean both the number of cup holders as well as the model name of this car? [sly]

BN-WW192_fallba_4U_20180105121317.jpg

And this is how the new 8 Seater SUV from Subaru look like...

Why would anyone need so many cup holder in a car? 1 for hot drink and 1 for cold drink for each occupant? And the spare 3 cup holder for errr ... [idea]  bottles containing tap water for clearing bird shit from the car??

Now, since there are so many holder, and if really all were utilized during a journey, maybe time for Subaru to consider adding a portable toilet to the car... :grin:  :grin:

Wrong selection of model name. It should have been Subaru Cupholder!

2013 Opel Insignia Sports Tourer

So what is the special thing with this wagon from Germany?

...

...

It is hidden in it boot

...

...

opel_insignia_sports_tourer_9.jpeg

Got it? Yes, it has a 2nd pair of tail light, hidden in it boot.

Why there is a need for the hidden tail light? Well, if you take a closer look at the tailgate, it open up in a whole piece, including the external tail light affixed to it. And for the obvious reasons, it is unsafe to have the car stopping by the road side or in darkness, since other motorist will not be able to see it under dim light condition, thus there is a need to add the inner pair of tail light, to make the car more visible (when the boot is open) in the dark.

There is another Opel model that has the same hidden tail light, for the same reason.

And they could have just done it like Audi & Citroen (with the extra pair of light mounted on the rear bumper, which can also double up as rear fog light), instead of in the boot... :lll._.:

脱裤放屁!

Exactly!!  :dizzy:

Have to change more bulbs.  [laugh]

That is the price to pay for a more unique design...  :yuush:

Anyone can guess why is there a ghost button on the remote of Koenigsegg Regera?

koenigsegg_regera_771.jpg

The answer is actually already in the photo I have posted. :excl:

In case you still don't catch it, it is for showing off, and I am not joking. [nod]

Pressing the ghost button on the remote control will open up all movable doors and cover of the million $$$ super car, as you can see in the video below. :yuush:

And it is not just the Regera, the latest Jesko have the same feature too (and they call it the "Ghost Package")!
