Why are there 2 different look of E250?

The earlier model before current.

 

One with pertruding merc logo on the bonnet, the other without.

they have different model.. elegant which is the basic .. with the sticking up merc logo.. 

the advantgard with big round merc logo at the grill 

the AMG kit.. 

then got limited E edition..

so many versions la

One is for younger driver and another one is for Uncle driver .

For Mercedes Benz Saloon,the best still got a Star on Top of the Bonnet,for Sports Car or Couple,then on the Grill nicer.

The one with the bonnet star is the Exclusive line.

 

The one with the big logo on the grille is Avantgarde/AMG Line.

 

Just a matter of trim level. Up to you to choose (and pay of course).

I don't think so....even if can,you need to pay alot of $$,must well you do the correct ordering when buying the Car.

Easily changed after market. Simple 15min diy job if you are handy. Cost,  probably in low hundreds to thousand odd depending if you get from the butcher or online.

That is so opiang but look is subjective. Those above 50 prefer the Star while those in their 40s abhor it, generally speaking (based on my group of friends, not scientifically proven. hahaha).

 

Since W213 E250 is not yet on our roads, TS is probably referring to the W212, the star trim (classic) actually cost less than the Avantgarde version and you can't pick and choose. The latter was packaged with different rims, steering wheel, headlights, etc. Nicest is the E Edition trim, I feel.
