Sktan10 5th Gear April 8, 2017 Share April 8, 2017 It may not be a fair comparison to compare the Kia Cerato Forte K3 L bare bone basic variant with the Cruze. Should take the Kia Cerato Forte K3 SX ($99,000, naturally aspirated engine) to compare with the Cruze ($95,000, turbo charged engine). The Kia Cerato Forte K3 L variant , which is also the variant ordered by Grab & Uber, lack the following features found in the more expensive SX variant. 1) No fog lamps 2) No insulation beneath bonnet 3) No sound insulation beneath wheel arch and undercarriage 4) 15" steel rims 5) Fabric seats 6) No cover for front storage comnpartment in interior 7) No interior courtesy lights above the rear view mirror 8) No LED and Daytime Running lights 9) No ventilated seats 10) No cruise control 11) No Eco and Sports Mode 12) No rear air con vent 13) Centre console hand rest cannot be adjusted 14) Rear seats don;t have hand rest in the centre 15) Non chrome interior door handles 16) Matt black wing mirrors (non painted) 17) Matt black door handles (non painted) 18) Basic sound system. No CD changer. 19) Rear drum brakes 20) No chrome in exterior and steering wheel Photos are of basic model of Kia Cerato Forte K3 L variant. And no folding mirror and manual adjust air con. But leather seat can ask for free? ↡ Advertisement

Vinceng Turbocharged April 8, 2017 Share April 8, 2017 (edited) And no folding mirror and manual adjust air con. But leather seat can ask for free? Top up $1,000 for semi leather seats. Not full leather. Edited April 8, 2017 by Vinceng

Possible that nobody is buying cars anymore? This can happen only when the World economy goes into a depression.

Vinceng Turbocharged April 9, 2017 Share April 9, 2017 nowadays no need buy, just rent or lease ha This is also fueling demand and pushing up COE prices. And no Thanks to Grab and Uber, the main culprits
Wolfverine Twincharged April 9, 2017 Share April 9, 2017 In Singapore, a car has become a "necessity" which is quite fascinating. As such, rain or shine, people will still buy.
dykid Clutched April 9, 2017 Share April 9, 2017 haha, but somehow the showrooms were really not too packed when I went last weekend to confirm my ride, was quite surprised actually. I would think that COE price probably won't go down much anymore that's why I secure my ride now, so not sure if should be happy or sad if my prediction is wrong haha.. dykid Clutched April 9, 2017 Share April 9, 2017 haha I do need it for my work, that's why I got a car, but my current ride still have 2 years actually, so I am only changing now foreseeing that future prices will go up. Of course, my guess is only as good as anyone's and no one can really predict the future haha, would have predicted toto numbers if I could already! Vratenza Supersonic April 9, 2017 Share April 9, 2017 For someone with 2 years left to go, and recent news and sentiments made you commit to a brand new car in case the price goes up in future....... Would you think you are alone in your mindset? We are looking at minimum 2yrs worth of COE numbers of current car owners twitching to jump in "before the price rockets in the next 2 years" Then add in those car aspirants on the sideline waiting for the previously anticipated COE premium drop (before the recent change in policy)... Which now vaporised after the policy announcement... You think they will just decide to permanently B. M. W or to just bite the bullet to jump in now? haha I do need it for my work, that's why I got a car, but my current ride still have 2 years actually, so I am only changing now foreseeing that future prices will go up.Of course, my guess is only as good as anyone's and no one can really predict the future haha, would have predicted toto numbers if I could already!
