You sound like a real "positive" person. I wonder if Philipkee ever stepped on your toes previously to warranty such "positivity"?

If you are in the market for a replacement or new car, I do sincerely wish you get the car of your dream and your COE without someone telling you that you could have waited for a cheaper durian dropped COE, a better more worthwhile model/marque to spend your own hard earned money, that you should have bought the S trim instead of the XXX trim.....AFTER the dust have settled and the ink dried on the contract form and COE results finalized......best part about all these is, that someone is not even paying for any of these.... or offering the use of his/her ride if you are left without a mode of transport by end of the 6 bid NG.

In any other forum n mcf, no way did it mention that all posts need to add value. A forum is all about opinions and views within regulations. Having said that, Philip may be happy now but who knows what regrets he may have later on.

Why can't it be simply left as "Let's congratulate Philip on getting his mode of transport settled for the next 10 yrs!"

Whatever regrets he will or might have is non of any of our business since he did not use any of our money.

Like i say, all posts are always of a person opinions and views. If you cannot accept these in a forum, then too bad for you.

No one has to agree with anyone here

Your existing COE expires earlier than the run out date of the 6 NG bid, right? Either way, you have to scrap your car by 1 May. Looking at the facts you presented, it seems to me you don't have a case against them,

He signed the agreement which is totally against him.

Sorry but it's rather silly.

One of my colleague bought a hrv a week after I signed for jazz but gotten Coe successfully on the first bid. Wonder what is KM strategy now to bid for hrv buyer but not jazz and civic buyers? Say till so confidently will get Coe only to get us to sign. Lol.

if hrv buyer did not get the ride after 6 bids, likely they will go to PI.

did you notice hrv coe rebate is higher than city and jazz though all are cat A. KM is more desperate to secure hrv deal because of competition from PI.

Under used vehicle's sales agreement clause (6):

" It is agreed that should KM fail to obtain a COE for my new car, this used vehicle Sale Agreement will be cancelled and void. No whatsoever form of compensation will be imposed."

if i were you, knowing SE have not say on COE, i will talk to her nicely requesting her to arrange a meetup with her manager, but demand a response within a day, otherwise you will walk in straight to her manager room.

ody margin is very high and coe didn't inch up much since Feb, I am pretty sure both you and KM can work out something.

cheers,

I'm surprised swift is 83k now.

Made in Japan some more

I'll get this over the mirage anytime

At $80K+ for the Japan-made Ignis, wonder how the Thai-made Attrage, or the Malay-made Bezza can fight?

Looking at this coe trend, does it mean I unlikely to get wish if I've signed for 6 ngcoe for wish 3wks back?

Bro, did U sign with Borneo Motors or PI?

I signed the contract with BM in early March but did not get the COE in first bid in March. But 2nd bid this round they secured it with a high bid.

For BM, they face an extremely high competition fr PI so that's why the price differential is kept low, and they will try to secure the bids within the agreement otherwise peiple can easily switch to PIs.

Better to earn less than not earn at all, at least can maintain market share, esp now with new management they have to show results otherwise next financial year they also get booted out!

With their "new" management, I'd like to see BM pressing on advocacy measures with Toyota Inc Japan - to bring more MIJ models for the SG market.

Forget about the "ASEAN Car" business model, it just doesn't work for the high-price SG market ... seeing how Toyota had lost their market share here, Y-O-Y over the last 20 years!

Must be very kan cheong every 2 weeks. [laugh]

Car haven't arrived in sg so ok to wait. My SE told me if can't get he will cover Km's subsidized rental cost Super confident sure nail. To blitz: it's turbo at 49k coe launch price but got it at 57k coe. They bidded at 59k which is an overkill.

Did a check on the update price list this morning. Surprisingly KM increase the Coe rebate of jazz 1.3 from $37k to $47k. Most likely next round they will bid equally for Honda jazz buyer.
