I believe the 1.6L THPs had a 6-speed, unlike the Citroen-badged batch of diesels. They've fortunately replaced the EGCs with EAT-6s on the eHDis as well I do find an unfortunate aspect of the DS5's design being the outward visibility but it's probably nothing a person cannot get used to.
