Generally successful 3) If still not successful, cancel the card

So not only DBS lose a customer, Esso would have also lost one customer haha

Tried everything from digibot, email, phone but still refused to waive. Wanted to cancel but last resort called my Relations Manager to 'help out' or I will consider moving my investments elsewhere. If 2022 still same thing happen, will really cancel this card and DBS services. 1

Financial institutions must be the first to realise the adage 'Penny wise, pound foolish' literally, as one's relationship is not only through Credit Cards. There are lots of fishes in the ocean and there's also others that tie-up with petrol companies for cashback, discounts etc. So no big deal.
