That is why I didn't redeem. I would rather use the points for fuel purchase!

I have Esso MasterCard points which is the one I need to keep valid. I have not used it at all in 2018.

 

In 2018 I've been to Esso but I'm using a normal separate Smiles card cos my SMS $5 voucher is only for this.

20% not bad, but they send out the sms so late de?  -_-

 

so everytime pump MUST show SMS or auto inserted ?

They saw SPC give additional 5% off from 31 Dec to 6 Jan....they LLST follow lor. But...they took 3 days to react...many alrdy hooted full tank from SPC liao lo. Stupid esso...like tat how to be mkt leader?

I was one of them. Spc full full in 2nd Jan

U have to pump once a year to keep the points valid.

 

Once passed a year without pumping, the points will be forfeited.

Issit? Omg! Then i gonna pump liao. Or my 1400+ points fly...

I have 10k plus and it got forfeited once. I had to appeal to have it restored cos it was only a few days that lapsed.

 

Imagine my pain.. 10k plus.. took me how many years to driving to save up. It's meant to fund my petrol for rainy days

hi anyone with dbs esso card can help me out? (regarding $10 spent = 1 esso point outside of esso)

 

i first started using my card in sept 2018, first time pump petrol in oct 2018. as of now i still did not receive any of the $10 = 1 point reward. i'm guessing because i wasn't enrolled into smiles until oct when i first pump petrol?

Imagine my pain.. 10k plus.. took me how many years to driving to save up. It's meant to fund my petrol for rainy days ð

 

That's why now I religiously monitor my points and expiry.

10k plus!! Omg!!! U took many years to save this 10k plus points. This shows something...

 

These years u r doing very good. No need the points as u dont have rainy days. Haha

U need to link your Esso MasterCard to your Smiles account.

At my age, risk of losing my job is quite high. Need to be more prudent in many ways liao

hmm i thought it would auto link once the first fuel purchase was made.

 

 i linked my dbs esso card to smiles website at https://www.essosmiles.com.sg/ in nov

waaa so much points ... what u pump to store up the pts since u dont really pump esso

When I first started driving I pumped mostly Mobil due to the convenience of Speedpass. Just pump and go, no need to queue up to pay.

 

That time is 1 point per dollar. Ron95 was like 1.20 thereabouts per litre. I need to drive around in the course of my work so my mileage is quite high and thus my petrol bill is high too.

 

Then the cartels started to change to 1 point for every litre pumped, so the accumulation became slower.

 

Eventually I started to pump BP followed by SPC and chucked Esso aside since the points "never expire" anyway.
