It is good to bid coe yourself if you are super cash rich and must secure the coe during the first bid no matter what happen?!
Darius 2nd Gear February 7, 2017 Share February 7, 2017 (edited) Is it wise to bid coe on my own? Can i still get a loan for the bare car? Will PI/AD entertain such request? They do but you do everything yourself and AD/ PI earn same margin lah. Do it if you are very free or importing your own car and very familiar with all the process. More PI and AD are open to specific request such as COD compared to before but they must still earn.It a good experience to do it but not necessary saving on $$%$$ Edited February 7, 2017 by Darius
minion 4th Gear February 7, 2017 Share February 7, 2017 Actually there's no difference. In fact the one getting a loan may get his first since the company makes more $$. My rep put in the bid anyway.. got my COE four and a half month ahead of my car. First bid.. May I know what was the loan tweak? Today's news paper. Ct3833 Supersonic February 7, 2017 Share February 7, 2017 highest one is 800k, avg is 65k, so what does it mean?It means if without the 800k loan, the average could be lower than 65k. But in reality, only 1 or 2 cases of 800k loan, it would probably wont swing the average too much.

Dont think they will increase the loan period, cause currently already 7 years. Maybe they want to revert back to 5 years max loan period?
