Yea, for it to take off, Space Star should be cheaper than Attrage as in other markets.

I remember when it was first launched here, it was priced higher than the Attrage.  [bigcry]

A pity as it looks better than Attrage and is slightly more fuel efficient.

Have not seen a spacestar on the road yet. C&C need to sell it cheaper to put some on the roads.

Wa, can help ask if he/she has any difficulty with overtaking/lane change? And how good is the FC really? Overall satisfaction?  [:p]

Overtaking?

I'm driving attrage and I can tell you overtaking is going to be difficult since it's the same 1.2L CVT engine.

My friend's FC very bad. Cos previously driving BMW 320 so not used to lack of power and keep stepping accelerator. So around 10km/L.

For me I'm getting around 15km/L cos I understand the engine lack power so stomping on the accelerator not going to make any difference other than burn and waste more fuel.

Lol 10km/l? Defeats the main purpose of the car already.

I'm wondering if can get used to it as previously drove Swift 1.5, already found mid-range over taking a bit challenging at times.

So I guess once you push this 3 cylinder engine too much too often, the wonderful FC goes out the window. But very difficult to avoid given Singaporeans' driving style.

Seems very quiet in this thread.

I went for a test drive this weekend and felt the car's lack of motivation to move off from stationary.

Is this car selling well?

They need to price it slightly below the attrage as in overseas markets. You are sacrificing bootspace after All. Edited by Iiiusion

It's using the same engine as attrage so not expecting any driving excitement.

The rear space feels a bit cramped possibly because of the hatchback design in which it's tapered down the rear earlier than the sedan.

If this is the Space Star they are selling, maybe can sell better.

Colt plus sized mini MPV 7 seater, compete with Toyota Sienta and Honda Freed.

It's hatchback afterall

Shouldn't the leg room of the hatchback be the same as the sedan version?

More cramped vs the attrage cause it’s wheelbase is 100mm shorter. 2450 vs 2550(attrage).no idea why. Edited by Mkl22

Yes, oddly the wheelbase is shorter. I asked the SE and was told they are the same. Obviously the SE did not get the facts right..
