Cypher 4th Gear January 17, 2017 Author Share January 17, 2017 Went for test drive.. A bit disappointed at the pricing. $76800 for Premium X model (probabbly burst someone's bubble). This pricing I believe should be for the Advance model. Even after managing my expectation on the car. I believe they should bring in the Advance model but should not cross the $80000 threshold. What are your thoughts? Pls share your view on this..

Cypher 4th Gear January 18, 2017 Author Share January 18, 2017 @Epr0mlse To sum up performace(butt feel) during the short test drive, all I can say there's enough power for the car(3 person inside). A bit floaty(14" tyres). Recommended to go for test drive. @Tkseah Disappointed at the pricing cause IMO they should have brought in the Advance version without the ECO idle feature. The attrage have Auto AC and touchscreen monitor for around $80000++. The Advance version will at least bring competition in this price range. Jamesc Hypersonic January 18, 2017 Share January 18, 2017 If the tires are at 250 then it is optimised for fuel saving and will feel floaty. If reduce to 220/230 then I think it improves a lot.
Jamesc Hypersonic January 18, 2017 Share January 18, 2017 I am actually glad they brought in the Premium version and not the Advance version. Keen pricing is the advantage in this segment of the market. I feel in this segment not everyone wants all the bells and whistles and would rather have a lower entry price. Of course if you gave all the bells and whistles and the lower price no one will say no but if they have to pay I think most people can live with it.

I always pump 250 for 195/45/15 and 225/45/17 feel kinda bouncy
Epr0mlse 2nd Gear January 18, 2017 Share January 18, 2017 the car is light, it will still bounce around..

The driver door side have a metal plate with how much you should pump, you should follow the recommendation. The bezza has a tyre that is actually designed from 250.

I pump 250 because the mechanic told me to, say 45 profile is thin hence pump more for better comfort.. curious, what car you driving that use such a tyre? I find 175 is kinda thin.. although very comfort..

When I changed tyre the shop pump 200. I drove home and felt this is the most comfortable I ever felt in my car. Try 200 and see if you feel more comfortable or not?

IMHO, If the difference is not more than 4k, I would gladly top up to get the Advance model. Bottom line is max $80k for Advance trim to compete with the Attrage. Just my 2¢ worth.. Sure, the safety features (vsc, traction control) alone is worth the price.. KIA Forte (SX) owner here. I believe its the first affordable car with ESC when launched 8 years ago. ↡ Advertisement
